Today, Minnesota Senate Republicans have introduced Senate File No. 2589, proposing to amend the state's mental health statutes to include 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' (TDS) as a recognized mental illness. The bill defines TDS as an irrational fear or hatred of Donald Trump that impacts an individual's ability to function in daily life, sparking debate on whether political opposition should be considered a mental health issue.

You have to admit, the numbers of people resorting to willful property violence, keying Teslas, destroying Tesla charging stations, vandalizing Tesla dealerships all because Musk politically aligns with the current POTUS qualifies for some extreme knuckle-dragging TDS. What about the people who aren't involved but are cheering it on? Cheering for Telsa to fail? Cheering for his rockets to crash?

The irony here is it took Trump Devotion Syndrome to come up with a bill listing Trump Derangement Syndrome as a state recognized mental illness.

But it is Minnesota we are talking about, the whole thing reads as antagonistic middle finger intending legislation.
