Taking the Rainbow Back --- Enough is Enough

You seem only to express yourself in explicative. I'd like to see you make a rainbow up in the sky. I bet you cannot.
Easy enough. Seed the clouds and then position one's self properly. See, here is the thing. Two people can be present when the conditions for a rainbow occur. But positioning is key. If the sun is at your back and the water/moisture is before you, then you see the rainbow. But if you are standing so that you are looking at the sun, you won't see the rainbow. So it is easy to lose the rainbow by the position one takes.

That's overly complicated you can just project one or make one with a water hose.

Well he did say up in the sky, not down here near the ground. So I preempted that particular protest.

That's YOUR opinion which you repeatedly refuse to prove. Man couldn't make up what is in the Bible --- but man most certainly has a hand in the nonsense that is being preached by the LGBTQ promoters today! Now, that is being made up by man, woman, it, they, whatever!
God's existence cannot be proven - that is why it's called faith.

God is fiction.....those who "love" him just don't know it. ( in spite of it being rather obvious).
You're the type of person who believes in coincidence and yet is obvious to the reality of assurance.

So is Barney and Blue
Well, they actually are in the sense that Barney is a real person acting inside a costume and someone is in fact speaking the dialogue. Describe for me the wind. Is it real? Can you see it? You can see what it does? You may see dust moved by the wind (among other things), but is it real if in fact you cannot see it? JESUS was real and claimed to be the visible manifestation of what is the invisible GOD.

At least Barney can be seen and heard. His existence is demonstrable.

Wind is the the movement of air, relative to the planet's surface, caused by the uneven heating of the Earth by the sun and the Earth's own rotation. It can be measured, quantified, and its effects directly observed. The same cannot be said of god.
You may see dust moved by the wind (among other things), but is it real if in fact you cannot see it?
dust being moved (blown around) is direct, objective evidence of wind.
JESUS was real and claimed to be the visible manifestation of what is the invisible GOD.
The key word there is 'claimed.' Anyone can claim anything. But there is no objective evidence to support such a claim. Or do you simply accept any claim at face value?

Christians believe in God they aren't going to stop because you don't.
The reverse is true as well. Atheists believe there is no god. They aren't going to stop because a theists of any type says there is one.

Definitely.

So if you don't want to be evangelized to don't evangelize to others. Agree it's a two way street.

This conversation is in response to a Christian saying God is real to those who love him. Not that people should believe in God.

I never said they were. Only that their belief is just that, a belief, and really no different than a child's belief in an imaginary friend. God seems to be the imaginary friend of adults. Regardless, belief does not equal fact and there is no evidence/proof of either a child or adults imaginary friend.

When do atheists evangelize? That is a primarily religious function.

Again, just because they might believe god is real does not automatically make it reflective of actual reality. It's nothing more than a matter of the mind and wishful thinking.

Why do you feel the need to say this? What value is it?

You're doing it look above.

There is a reason why "evangelical atheist" is a term. There are indeed atheists out there bound and determine to turn all theists into atheists. This is different from the majority who only strike back when lashed out at. I think the funniest one I ever saw was the one trying to disprove the Goddess at a Pagan Pride event.

I haven't seen any. Usually it's atheists who react to religious claims or proselytizing. But not so much on the initiative.

I agree that such is the majority. But all the groups have their.....jerks. No reason for atheists to be an exception. And look up the phrase. It's out there and it happens. Evangelical has moved beyond religion as an adjective
