Supreme Court rejects pharmacists' religious rights appeal

a pharmacy is private property, meaning it can belong to a single person, or even a corporation, in both cases its private property, and can run its own affairs based on religious beliefs.

you need to understand what rights are

They can file as a religious entity or remain a public business. If the latter, public accomodation laws apply. That has been validated by the courts time and again. Your ignorance of the law is astounding. And losing.

The license requires certain standards. The standards include the pharmacy selling drugs that are legally sold in the United States.

it makes business sell goods and operate, which does not harm the health and safety of the public.

discrimination is administrative law/regulations, how can you make a regulation violating the right of association, when discrimination causes no harm.

You aren't participating in abortion, in the same way that scanning alcohol and checking someone out isn't particpating in getting drunk.

You know that it's illegal to sell alcohol to an intoxicated person, right?

The thing about the left is they only care about the rights they believe in or want to force everyone else to concede to.
when it comes to rights that they don't agree with they don't care as what can be seen in this thread.

The thing about people like you is you don't understand how the nation actually works. If you have a pharmacy, you have to follow certain standards set by the government in order to sell drugs that are not OTC. If you don't follow these standards, you can have your license revoked. You simply can't just make your own regulations as to what your pharmacy does in regards to state or federal law. If you want to be a pharmacy, you need to sell these drugs that people have the legal right to buy. If you don't then don't get a pharmacy license.

You know that people can buy alcohol sober and still get drunk later right? Just like they can buy these pills before having sex and then use them later on.

Hey, your religion includes snake handling. Practice that at work.

public accommodation laws violate rights, because the government is forcing you to associate with people you choose not to.

my knowledge of law far outweighs your knowledge, because i understand rights and constitutional law, which is above federal and state law.

Its not violating your right to associate. If you don't agree with the law to operate a legal pharmacy in the United States, don't open one.

It's also illegal to sell intoxicating substances not intended for consumption (e.g. hand sanitizer) to a person that you have reason to believe will use them to get high.

The point being, selling someone something when you know darn well what it's going to be used for, absolutely makes you a party to the act, as the law and reasonable people recognize.

one right they hate is right to property

yet in this thread you don't seem to care about discriminating against religious people in fact you called for their firing.
sorry you can't have it both ways.

a pharmacist not giving something they don't believe in is not discrimination.

Yes, it is. Refusing to give a customer what they require, or to have someone else give a customer what they require, is discriminating against any customer who does not share their belief. However, since I believe you have blinders on, and can only see persecution of the religious without acknowledging or recognizing the rights of anyone else, this conversation is fruitless. And over.

Your posts demonstrate your ignorance

Better stop using the internet then. By giving money to your ISP, it goes to the proliferation of pornography, which I am sure you are 100% against.

you don't understand rights, i also have a right to commerce....its not a privledge

No, you obviously don't understand. Without your license that is required to operate a pharmacy, you wouldn't have any pills that you could sell in your pharmacy. It sounds like you just want to become a drug dealer more than anything. Which you can do, if that is what you are so inclined to do.

This is so ignorant and uneducated and dishonest LMAO

licenses are required for taxes and reasons of health/ safety.

discrimination does not fall into those mentioned.

You know that the internet is used to store millions of pornographic videos and pictures. You pay your ISP who in turn gives you access to the internet. Without anyone accessing the internet, there would be no reason for porn to be on the internet. You willingly provide a market that goes against your religious views. You are a party to the act of the creation and distribution of pornography.

Licenses are what allows you to have prescription pills.

its only ignorance to you, because of your inability to understand rights and supreme law.

Time and again, the courts have ruled against your position. Time and again, those rulings have been upheld. When are you going to buy a clue about your ignorance of the law? When your Jesus comes down and b-slaps you for your ignorant bigotry?

one right they hate is right to property

add religious rights to that as well. wait let me clarify. any religious right that isn't Christian is ok.

Nope not blinders at all. simply calling out the religious discrimination for what it is.
again a pharmacist standing up for his rights is not discrimination. those beliefs are protected by law and the constitution.

the government in fact is required by law to give religious accommodations for those views and beliefs.
what right do you have to force someone to violate theirs?

as I said you seem to be ok with religious discrimination.
however please don't pretend to be against discrimination while supporting it.

PS I haven't ignored anything. They also have the right to go elsewhere.

as you totally ignored my example in a previous post.

I walked into a Kosher deli that wasn't advertised. I asked for a sub with ham they didn't have ham because they were a kosher deli.
according to your logic they were forcing their views down my throat by not offering ham as a deli. they were discriminating against me
because of their religion.
