Super Bowl Requirements

One more time.

Mandates aren’t laws.

They are issued orders that can be enforced. If they aren’t being enforced, then that’s the decision of the authorities.

The actions are not “legal” or “illegal” because there is no LAW involved.
Not all laws are enforced either. That doesn’t make it legal to disobey them. There is no difference between a law and a mandate other than how it came to be. As I showed you mandates carry the full force of laws passed by the legislature.

We’ll get on the phone and tell them to start enforcing it!

I’m not in CA, it doesn’t apply to me and the authorities aren’t enforcing it. So 🤷‍♀️ I don’t care.

Would you care if someone was committing arson at the game?
Surely you can see the hypocrisy. It’s as plain as day. As long as you agree with the law (or mandate) it should be enforced. If you don’t agree with it then enforcing it doesn’t matter to you.
Is that about right?

So not wearing a mask is the same as arson?

😂😂😂

You realize there is an entire hierarchy of laws, right?

In CA there are also some really obscure ones, should they be enforced?

I mean…it is pretty offensive to wear a jacket and pants that do not match. And don’t bathe your kids together!

Although detonating a nuclear device does carry a $500 fine 😂

Both are illegal.
You may not choose which rules to obey. That would be hypocritical, wouldn’t you agree?

False equivalency.
Masks are potentially life saving.

It seems none of the VIP'S are wearing masks? What is going on?
Mask rebellion In California?

It's hard to keep deplorables from acting deplorable.

I mean this, I simply do not understand what is wrong with people who feel complying with such simple requests is so upsetting.

Honest, what is it? What is wrong with these folks? Seriously? What is so hard about wearing a mask? What? What?
I don't Magic or Newsom qualifies as a "deplorable". BTW, California goes off masking in most cases on Tuesday. Super Bowl crowd is just rehearsing.

The NFL commissioner was not wearing a mask? Law breaker!
You either follow the rules of the society in which you live or you forfeit your right to complain about anyone who makes the same choice.

Don’t distrub a rock or you’re a criminal in Fresno!

Definitely don’t drive you car in reverse then! You’re a criminal in one part of CA.
Hypocrisy at its finest.
Again, you either follow the rules of the society in which you live or you lose your right to complain when anyone else makes the same choice.
Therefore if you aren’t bothered by people not obeying legal mandates then you have no right to complain when I drive my car backwards-or if I bomb a building.

These are laws in CA.

Don’t disturb a rock - or you’re the same as an arsonist! (By your rationale)

Mandates aren’t laws.

Laws are passed by legislatures. Mandates are issued by executives.

Mandates are enforceable but they are not laws.

I’m sorry you can’t understand the nuanced difference between the two.

In fact, mandates and laws are effectively the same thing. The only difference is how they are initiated: Mandates are created and enacted by an executive branch, such as a state governor, rather than through a lengthier legislative process that ends with the governor's signature and new, durable law.Dec 16, 2021

A law and a mandate have the same power to be enforced. The only difference is how it came to be.

A law is passed by the senate and the house of representatives and signed by the governor. A mandate is made by the governor, with the power given to them by the legislature in a state of emergency.

Overall, a mandate has the same effect as a law. Health officers in the state have said everyone must comply with the Governor's mandate, which makes the mandate enforceable by health officers and police.

Is the vaccine mandate a law?

The federal vaccine mandate, although not passed by the US Congress, still carries the same legal requirement that it be followed and will be the law of the land until it expires, is canceled, revoked or is found unlawful by the courts. The US Constitution’s Second Amendment gives the President his authority to issue executive orders, along with additional Acts of Congress.

Executive orders, or directives, like laws passed by Legislatures can be called mandates and can have sunset clauses, taken off the books at a later date or be found unconstitutional by the courts and struck down.

So…enforceable but not laws.

Exactly what I’ve said.

I’m not in CA - they don’t apply to me so I literally don’t care.

If anyone wants to get their panties in a twist over whether people wear masks at the Super Bowl, have at it.

I literally could not care less. The CA mask mandate matters to me as much as the Fresno law about disturbing rocks.

CA seems really good at making absurd ones for both.

If you’re walking your elephant, it must be on a leash.

Don’t wash a car with used underwear.

Then again…🤷‍♀️…those are actually LAWS, and that makes it even more ridiculous

Yet you are spilling much electric ink telling us you don't care.
