Stuff You Can't Make Up said by Politicians

GOP Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Lauren Boebert of Colorado were the only members of Congress to vote against a bill that would provide patients who suffer from leukemia or other blood diseases access to potentially life-saving bone marrow transplants.

The legislation, called the TRANSPLANT Act, would reauthorize the National Marrow Donor Program for another five years. The program helps match bone marrow donors and cord blood units with people in need.

The bill overwhelmingly passed the House in a 415-2 vote on Thursday evening. Twelve lawmakers, including freshman Republican Rep. Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina, did not vote on the bill.

A spokesman for Greene told Insider in a statement that the bill "opens the door" for the National Institutes of Health to "research the remains of babies who were murdered in the womb."

Boebert and Greene are against anything that helps anyone. They're a pair of evil scumbags, and nothing they ever say should be taken seriously.

As for the others (Braun, Blackburn), how is this surprising? Braun is a well-known racist swine, and Blackburn is a lunatic AND a bigot.

Let's make contraception illegal. Good stuff.

Kid Rock says Donald Trump sought his advice on North Korea and Islamic State

“I was there with [Trump] one day when he ended the caliphate,” Kid Rock, 51 and born Robert Ritchie, told Carlson in reference to US efforts against the Islamic State.

“He wanted to put out a tweet … I don’t like to speak out of school. I hope I’m not. But … the tweet was, and I’m paraphrasing, but it’s like, you know, ‘If you ever joined the caliphate, you know, trying to do this, you’re going to be dead.’

“He goes, ‘What do you think?’ [I said] ‘Awesome. I can’t add any better.’ But then it comes out and it’s … reworded and more political, to look politically correct. And just, ‘be afraid’.”

He also said he and Trump were once “looking at maps. I’m like, you know, like, ‘Am I supposed to be in on this shit?’ Like I make dirty records sometimes. I do.

“‘What do you think we should do about North Korea?’ I’m like, ‘What? I don’t think I’m qualified to answer this.’”

You know you're ****ed in the head when Kid Rock questions your judgement.

Assholes.

At least you tried to make sense of it

It's fascinating, in a horrible sort of way.

Like, say, watching a trainload of nuns going off the side of a trestle.

Bipartisan - Top 10 Dumb Things Said by US Politicians (2015)

Greene is confused about a lot of things.
What'd I'd like to know is how all of the conservatives who are so against transgender people do not call out MTG for trying to pass herself off as a woman? Kaitlynn Jenner looks downright effeminate compared to MTG.

MTG deserves to be called out for claiming to be human.

It may be nothing more than that they weren't notified by their party leadership that on this particular bill the standing rule, 'If a Democrat votes for it, vote against it', was not in effect.

Occam's razor?

Regards, stay safe 'n well 'n remember the Big 5.

You are kidding right? So 413 were notified but not them? They are just complete idiots who need attention

Hi, Credence!

I cannot in good conscience agree with your characterization of those two Representatives as 'complete idiots'.

Nobody's perfect, right?

Regards, stay safe 'n well.
