Study reveals 'assassination culture' spreading on the left under President Trump

At best it shows the majority of leftist surveyed somewhat, or outright, condone murder of political enemies.

You support a group that murdered it’s political enemies.

Irrelevant. There is no justification to murder someone.
Well generally speaking, I wouldn't say "no justification". 0's and 100's are hard to come by in nature. Though you can do the semantics thing where murder is the unlawful killing of another where as there is justifiable homicide which usually comes through things like self-defense.

But if you poke a bear long enough, you might get eaten. Doesn't mean that it's justified, just that it remains in the realm of positive probability.

Given this poll is from April but it is relevant today. The poll was taken by Network Contagion Research Institute. Not some right wing fish wrap.

The disturbing results should make everyone take pause. And I suspect the results would be even higher today.

==================================

"A disturbing new report reveals that violent political rhetoric online, including calls for the murder of public figures like President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, is being increasingly normalized, particularly on the left.

The report, from Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), found that a growing number of people are willing to justify and even applaud killing in the name of politics and a warped sense of social justice. The chilling change appears to have accelerated in recent months.

"What was formerly taboo culturally has become acceptable," Joel Finkelstein, the lead author of the report, told Fox News Digital. "We are seeing a clear shift – glorification, increased attempts and changing norms – all converging into what we define as ‘assassination culture.’""

I saw a poll about eight years ago around the time Trump won in 2016 which showed that leftists, far more than those on the right, felt violence was justifiable as a political tool.

Damn dude, your bait has been particularly nasty lately.

Are you getting ready for another fishing tournament? Kamchatka, perhaps?

Disturbing. And predictable.

There is always a common denominator to things like this. Can you think past your MAGA loyalty for a change and realize that it is Trump who has changed things.
He has not changed things to where murdering someone who you have political disagreements with is considered justified. Unless of course, you come from the leftist cult.

This forum is a perfect example of that which the study reveals.

This is a lazy and politically dumb statement, you do not have facts to back this up. Minnesota happened and I am sure you were outraged.
As I have posted over and over again, the fringe groups on both side are horrific and make this country worse.

They can't control their rage The leftist cult is very dangerous.

Kinda like Vance Boelter who had a kill list and tried to kill more than the 2 Democrats? Think then post.

Why couldn't your Confederate heroes control their rage? Why did their cult murder Americans in political violence?

Typical Fox propaganda BS. Look at the questions. Then come back to me when they report results when they substitute Trump with Harris and Musk with Biden or Gavin.

Can't help you don't like the results of the poll. Looking in the mirror will do that.

I am not surprised at the results of the poll. Nor am I surprised that it's been MISINTERPRETED by both Fox and YOU even after pointing out the obvious issue with the poll.
