This one is even better than the first. Did you know most NYC subways were built and run by the private sector? All kinds of interesting tidbits in this video:

Edit: What is also interesting is that Mamdani won't meet with Stossel to defend his ideas.

Mamdani is the worst of the worst. A rich, priveleged, marxist from a family of marxists who will deplete NYC resources while sucking up the benefits intended for the truly poor. What a creep. Tell me how he qualifies for price controlled rent? His past is his truth. Look at what he's said. Do you think he has suddenly changed. He refuses to denounce Hamas or the attacks on the Israeli music fest that started the current mess.

This is a lie. NYC took control of all three subways systems in 1940. They're run by MTA New York City Transit.

The right believes every single outright lie it's fed. No double checking. No skepticism. No doubts. No facts. No wonder they're idiots.

They support concentration camps for people minding their own business and military takeovers of American cities, but Mamdani is too extreme.

Another thread by you condemning theoretical future socialism, but not a peep about actual fascism being implemented in the capital.

Mamdani really has the right-wing in a dither.
He should have everyone in a dither. Nothing he claims will come true. He'll bankrupt NYC and lay it on the backs of the poor the same as always happens. The rich will move as soon as he tried to raise taxes. They'll move their company headquarters to a more business, tax friendly state. Who will be left? The people he's scamming with his socialist claims that have never worked anywhere.

He will have no influence on my life whatsoever.

NYC already has higher taxes than places like Dover, Memphis, and Nashville. Why hasn’t every business moved out of the NYC?

The fellows who elected a man who allowed a pandemic to run wild fear Mandami could do bad things.

D.C. and Alaska are more Trump diversions from the Epstein debacle.

Trump has moved a convicted sexual predator of children - Ghislaine Maxwell - from prison in Florida to a "country club" facility in Texas.

I have never known the Bureau of Prisons to move a murderer, rapist, terrorist, or a sexual-predator of children to a minimum security facility.

Yet that's exactly what Donald Trump has done with Ghislaine Maxwell.

No, it's not a lie. Most of them were built by the private sector around 1900, and then taken over by the government in 1940.

On the contrary, since Mamdani is the one who refuses to meet with Stossel to discuss his ideas.

Isn't Stossel a constituent in New York City? Has he tried walking up and talking to Mamadani like other New Yorkers?

Why would Mamdani meet with Stossel, a Fox News hack?

Because you should be willing to defend your ideas, especially if you want to impose them by force on 8 million strangers. I've watched/read at least a half dozen of him being interviewed, and he just doesn't get asked the right questions. He's a rare combination of super slick, but also very likable, but eventually he's going to have to answer some tough questions.

The freak out after he wins is gonna be epic.

Are you as concerned for all of your fellow Traitor Trump supporters that will be harmed by his cuts to various federally funded social/welfare programs?

Yep, it's going to be extremely entertaining. Not only will republicans freak out, but establishment dems are going to find themselves having to defend capitalism and markets, both of which they loathe. Meanwhile progressives will get supercharged with energy and the future possibilities of turning the US into a socialist state, which is their ultimate goal.

But the real fun starts when Mamdani (33 years old, never had a real job in his life), will now be in charge of a couple hundred thousand lazy government employees for his mission impossible - making NYC affordable for the average person.

He's told us his plan, and it's both terrible and very difficult to implement. Imo, he made a huge mistake running on cost of living. A leftist running on cost of living is like an arsonist running for fire chief.

Agreed. That doesn’t mean Mamdani should accept interview invitations from disreputable interviewers.

"Disreputable" meaning those who might actually challenge him, instead of lobbing fluff questions at him. Interviewers who will treat him like a politician instead of a prom king.

If Mamdani wins, I'm gonna walk around with an umbrella. Keep dry from all the right wing cranial explosion shrapnel.

Yeah the one thing about Mamdani thus far is the lack of scrutiny 🤣

The advantage that young, inexperienced candidates like Mamdani have, is that they genuinely believe in themselves. Right or wrong, they are passionate. They truly believe that they can make the world a better place. Whereas the traditional politicians, the Democrats and Republicans, sacrificed their idealism and their courage long ago.
