In order to understand the machinations that are currently underway in the upper echelons of the Trump Regime it is, I believe, important to understand who Carl Schmitt was. Schmitt was a proponent of the Nazi regime with specific ideas about the implementation of power against a liberal democracy. Stephen Miller, the "Trump whisperer", is an acolyte of Schmitt and his "state of exception" doctrine.

"Formulated 10 years before the 1933 Nazi takeover of Germany, Schmitt claimed that urgency justified the following:
  1. Special executive powers
  2. Suspension of the Rule of Law
  3. Derogation of legal and constitutional rights
Schmitt's doctrine helped clear the way for Hitler's rise to power by providing the theoretical legal foundation of the Nazi regime."

Remember Miller's role - he is an unelected apparatchik, not confirmed by the Senate, and operating as manipulator-in-chief without constraint. Anyone familiar with Schmitt can recognize his signature operations in action.

Miller is an unabashed white nationalist, working in concert with Vought, the unabashed Christian nationalist at OMB, in bringing forth a new Reich in America. The themes of their operations are in the open, as they believe their power over Trump is unassailable. Noem, Hegseth, Homan, Bondi, Patel and Bovino are willing participants, but they don't have the brainpower or influence that Miller and Vought have over policy. They are the ones calling the shots, and their extremism is on display.

I know that even mentioning the word "Nazi" will bring out the acolytes and sycophants - the fascist-wannabes of DP - but understanding the bases of the policies we see being implemented, and their source documents, is important. Per Sun Tzu's maxim, to "'Know your enemy and know yourself", to understand their thinking and how it affects you. One can find the direct parallels between Schmitt's theories and Project 2025, even without direct attribution.

At the very least, Stephen Miller is, I believe, a White Supremicist. He is also Trump's "Whisperer".

There are definite parallels between today in America, and the interwar period in Germany which empowered Adolf Hitler and his Nazi movement.

It's no accident that Trump is sending US military forces to US cities in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act, and his recent rantings of activating the Insurrection Act.

The lawsuit(s) regarding Trump ordering US military forces to Chicago will be argued in court tomorrow. Trump lost similar cases brought by California and Oregon.

(400 US military troops (Texas National Guard) have arrived at the Elwood U.S. Army Reserve, located about 50 miles outside of Chicago in Will County, Illinois)

It’s now a matter of when, not if!
That is, like your new avatar, too true. Miller is now describing Court decisions "insurrection". Those of us who railed about Project 2025 have been proven correct repeatedly. I think it is worse than our most dire predictions.

Nice conspiracy theory, you have an inventive mind.

If you haven't a ****ing clue, or are completely in the fascist tank, no need participating. Read Schmitt. You'll recognize every word.

Ouch, touched a nerve haven't I? I'm guessing everything you don't like is an impending catastrophe.

Not at all. I recognize trolling and fascist apologism when I see it. I see it always when you post. I take scholarship seriously. You would not recognize it, as it's beyond your ken.

No, you don't, you don't have a clue about fascism. Nothing the Trump administration is doing is even remotely like Fascism. You Trump haters have totally destroyed the power of such words. And Scholarship? Don't make me laugh.

What you're actually seeing is an administration finally restoring competence to government.

Saying things over and over just makes some folks start to believe whatever it is.

It does not actually make it the truth.

Nah.

Just a knowledge of history.

Trumpco is not even being original.

He even used the term ”enemy within” which is a common fascist trope.

What's your point? Do you think trump is going to change our country into a fascist state? It was Obama who wanted to "fundamentally change" America.

You quite clearly have no actual knowledge of fascist/authoritarian regimes and how the come into power.

Crystal clearly.

They’re not even original, just apparently checked out some high school history book on how dictators rose to power and just decided to do that.

He was even daft enough to use the term “enemy within” which is plagiarized from a couple of the last century’s dictators.

But you come here and make declarative statements that he isn’t doing fascist shit in direct violation of the Constitution when everybody with any knowledge of history knows damn well it is.

My point is that the end stages of capitalism will absolutely require authoritarianism as no democracy would tolerate the deprivation finding a final winner will entail.

Our billionaires can’t compete with the billionaires that enjoy a captive population.

So trump’s gonna capture us for them. In the hopes they’ll finally let him in the Real Rich Guy club.

You'd better leave the country then, as fast as you can. Escape now before it's too late.
