Step back in time to 2015. Did you ever think then that a Maga would be condoning pedophilia in 2025?

I remember when Trump publicly entered politics with his escalator ride in 2015. With no chance as a Democrat, he switched parties. I had followed Trump since the mid 70's and knew of his considerable "baggage". I also knew that his phony "white tough guy" and "political outsider" image would have a certain appeal to rednecks, racists, and folks who didn't think that government worked for them. As such, I sat back and watched to see what would transpire.
Fast forward to the Access Hollywood tape. I just knew that there were enough decent voters to keep an admitted sex abuser from winning a presidential election. I was wrong.
Fast forward to four years of Trump corruption, lies and ineptness that cost hundreds of thousands of needless deaths with Covid, and an insurrection where law enforcement officers were beaten by rabid Trump worshippers. Once again, I thought there was no way this glorified "scumbag" would win another election. Once again, I was wrong.
After watching Trump control what we only thought were his "deplorable" followers, I still believed that there had to be a point where the Trump worshippers would say "enough is enough". Sadly, with Magas now defending Trump and condoning pedophilia, I no longer feel that any cellar exists. They have now whole-heartedly convinced me that their worshipping of Trump is not rooted in any political ideology, but is simply a manifestation of their own mental illness. In fact, I can't help but wonder what a Maga would do if Trump raped his/her underage daughter? The answer to that question should be clear, but given Maga's proven undying loyalty to Trump, the answer remains alarmingly unclear.

Donald has made it clear that he could drag the child of one of his supporters out onto the street on 5th Avenue, shoot that child in the head, and the parent would still vote for him over a Democrat. From what we have seen, this appears to be a fair statement, as few MAGA are willing to draw red line publicly that would cost them their support.

I’m thinking about most of our MAGA here and am hard pressed to imagine many if any of them being disloyal to Trump even if he raped their child. I think it’s more likely that they would react by claiming their child brought it upon themselves, their child is lying about it, or it was actually a Democrat who raped their child as a false flag operation. They’re not going to turn on Trump.

You kept the skepticism alive longer than I could. This newest wrinkle, of MAGA worship, does not surprise me at all. Sure some are talking like they are going to leave MAGA over this, but yeah. I shall believe it when I see it.

The toughest part is he is being allowed to do whatever, because they are beholden to him for their positions and ill-gotten gains at the expense of the American people, not the benefit. If pedophile rape is allowed, you know nothing is off the table.
We have reached justification for extreme reaction. If helping, and lying for, pedophile rapists/sex traffickers isn't the red line, nothing ever will be. This requires immediate reaction of the most extreme nature or all bets are off for the survival of the U.S democracy and law and order. The blatantness is the tell for which I noted, namely law and order is over for the radical right-wing elitists, and the beginning of authoritarian dictatorship has already begun.
