As of right now, I require nothing except the statistic.

What percentage of unmarried persons, who are sexually active, have sex without contraception?

Remember, the group is unmarried, sexually active persons. What percentage of that group does not contraception?

Alternatively, what percentage of that group DOES use contraception? After all, they are inverses of each other.

Oh, and a reliable source would be nice.
 
I think there are too many variables. You would need to find a study that was looking at specifically that population.

However, among the 43 million fertile, sexually active women who do not want to become pregnant, 89% are practicing contraception.
