My Odin, has there ever been anything more pathetic and comical than Trump's desperation to get the same prize the black guy got?

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Monday said President Trump deserves the
Nobel Peace Prize for his takeover of the Washington, D.C., police force after
preliminary data showed a lack of reported killings in the city over 11 days.

“There are MANY reasons why President Trump deserves the Nobel Peace
Prize – but 11 straight days with ZERO murders in Washington, D.C. might top
the list,” Johnson said Monday in a social media post. “SAFER streets.
STRONGER communities. AMERICA IS BACK!”

Johnson was responding to a post from the White House’s communications
team highlighting no incidents of homicides reported from Aug. 14-24.

Mike Johnson must have some pretty good knee pads.

Its sad that Johnson would so compromise his Christianity in such a manner as to promote someone like Trump. I wonder if in the future he may exclaim something along the lines of "but I cried 'Lord! Lord!'".

Johnson should ask for National Guard and Federal troops in Louisiana next....since this dirt poor state has one of the highest per capita crime rates in the country. --

Another city that makes a repeat appearance in the property crime and violent crime rankings is Monroe. The northern Louisiana city, which is the ninth-largest in the state, had 2,104 violent incidents for every 100,000 residents in a year. This figure puts it in the number two spot for the category of violent crime. Monroe is also number two in the state for property crime, with 6,048 incidents per capita annually (its immediate neighbor, West Monroe, comes in at number three for property crime).

Well, it's only "peace" when you take over a blue city.
Ah, gotcha. So it's about crime rates, but not really about crime rates.
;)

I did enjoy Trump's comment about how DC is already safe. I mean "data or it didn't happen" be damned when you have only the glorious MAGAverse to please.

Do you deserve the peace prize when you want to rename the DoD to the Department of WAR?

If he accomplishes something worthy of what the prize stands for, sure. Until then...
Just give him a knock-off so he'll shut up.

Was looking to see if Cracker Jack ever made a novelty Nobel he could have, but I found one better.😄

It wasn't actually for police-state tactics.
Hitler won Time's Man of the Year in 1938. The 1938 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to the Nansen International Office for Refugees for its work on behalf of refugees in Europe and beyond.

".....And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’" (Matt 7:23)
