That's the end game, we lost guys. Give it up, in two to three years as this monstrosity of a mess implodes, we'll be forced into paying higher taxes and private insurance will be outlawed. We'll all be on some national form of "Medicare", we'll get our "Medicare" cards, and all get "free" access to basic care. That's the end game.

The Progressive desire to destroy the concept of Natural Law governing our limited form of Government is reaching it's pinnacle.

Those on the left, and who think Rights just mean whatever will be ecstatic. Most people are when their ideology "wins". And they won. We lost. Get over it. Single Payer will be enacted before the year 2020. We can be just like the "rest of the world!"

Yay us.

Don't blame Obama, don't blame Congress, don't blame FDR or TR.

Blame your fellow ****ing Americans, who have surrendered the most precious gift our Founding Fathers gave us, in return for "free stuff".

They are to blame.

Huh i am not even sure what ou are talking about.

Not sure if you want a hug or some pills

Massachusetts proved to be sustainable. Hell if we get single payer that will be awesome tho!!

Soon to be single payer.

That would be good news. I don't notice many seniors rioting in the streets demanding to be let out of medicare.

Oh they do, but by the time the media gets there the Golden Corral has opened and they're all gone.

Yeah, because people are sheep. Turning over your healthcare to the Government ends poorly, you become a slave to the system, by force. But hey, what do you care? You got your free stuff right?

No need to worry.....we haven't given him the offer he wont refuse.

Not really. But thanks for playing.
Uh oh: RomneyCare’s rising health care costs unsustainable » The Right Scoop -
Some policymakers believe that global budgets are the answer to this problem. Because doctors would receive a flat annual fee for each patient, they’d have a direct financial incentive to keep their patients healthy – or more cynically – to limit the care they provide.

That’s exactly what has happened in Canada, which implemented such budgets in the 1970s. Last year, Canadians were waiting to receive more than 941,000 procedures. The average total wait time between referral from a primary care physician and treatment by a specialist reached 19 weeks in 2011. That’s more than double the wait time in 1993.

If global budgets take root in Massachusetts, residents can look forward to similar waits for necessary care.

Danger ahead? Massachusetts health costs are rising

the rest of the first world aren't slaves to the system. they are achieving better outcomes for a fraction of the cost.

You lie through your teeth Helix. LIES and Damned lies. But that's not the point, we could go around and around all day but you're convinced that months of waiting, poor care in hospitals and understaffed, underpaid healthcare workers are a swell deal cause "hey it's FAIR!".

Single Payer is a HORRIBLE idea, whose time will come for the formerly free peoples of the USA, who will go from exceptional to sheeple. This is the type of crap the Founders warned us about, but whatever. Who cares right? It's "Free healthcare!" Yeah, that MRI I got in 12 hours after seeing my doc for a major blown out tendon... won't be a 12 hour wait, it'll be months if I'm lucky.
Just like the UK and Canada and...

While single payer was the ultimate goal of obamacare....it's just not going to happen. It was written into the bill however was removed in order to get it passed. The bill as it stands now is largely unpopular and
Barack Hussein Obama no longer controls both houses of congress.

I wasn't saying you as in you were the person in the picture, you used i... of **** it, I really don't care right now.

I was just doing it because I thought your tantrum was funny.

Probably because we have been forced to pay into it all of these years. I retire in 5 years. I would be delighted to opt out of medicare if the government would be kind enough to refund every dollar I was forced to put into it.

and i'm forced to pay for emergency room treatment for the uninsured via my premiums and utterly ridiculous prices for routine procedures. and so are you. the current model has failed.

we agree for different reasons, i would assume, that the ACA is not a good solution, though.
