Are you sure you want to argue for democracy as a Republican? It would probably be smarter to fall back to "The U.S. is a republic not a democracy" given all the polling info we have.

Given what McConnell and Trump are doing to the Senate (i.e. stopping anything from reaching the floor that Trump does not approve,) you are absolutely the worst person to point out Constitutionality.
