We had a record travel season this past memorial day. The airports could barely keep up. The roads were ridiculously congested. The hotels were filled up, and there was no place to stay if you had not reserved from foreign in advance.

You don’t judge the economy by raw prices, you judge it by consumer purchasing power. And the purchasing power of the American consumer has never been higher.

For example, prices for a stamp were much higher under Trump than under Woodrow Wilson. Does that mean the economy was worse?

As far as people’s 401(k), the stock market is in record territory.
