Some Republicans are not backing Trump's "vindication" claim.

Why would anyone think Trump is "vindicated?" All that Memo did was make matters worse, and the implications of what was included suggest this mess is far from over.

If Trump really felt vindicated, he would fire Mueller and stop the madness.

That's not happening.

Republicans not siding with Trump...what else is new?

Keep in mind too that Gowdy is actually the only one who saw the information used for Nunes to craft his joke of a memo. If Gowdy says it doesn't vindicate Trump, then we can take that to the bank.

We'll see if the House Judiciary Committee votes today on releasing the legitimate memo from the real world. Then we'll see if trump and rogue kelly release it.

I'm surprised Trump hasn't attacked Gowdy by Twitter yet.

trump's insane tweets already this AM haven't gotten around to Gowdy and the 3 other GOPs on Judiciary who've rebutted his lies. As I said, we'll see how these 4 vote today.

while the world markets tumbled today ...

That's a good idea. You should reach out to Trump and suggest he fire Mueller.

Mueller's closing in, as we see with the increased frequency and volume from trump fake news.

Gowdy speaking out is now giving some cover to responsible but still malleable GOPs.
It's too bad your gops have to retire before they speak up.

The only way ryan and mcconnell can save your gop is to introduce to us President Pence and Vice-President Kasich ...

All the good guys are retiring. Gowdy (who I still respect in spite of Benghazi), Flake, Corker, Frelinghuysen.....

Who would want to be a Republican lawmaker these days? It's downright embarrassing.

Check out Arthur J. "Art" Jones to see what passes for a GOP candidate for the House here in Illinois these days.

Gowdy retiring immediately following the release of the trump/nunes memo has shook the gops in the House.

I'll be voting in the GOPrimary in March, reluctantly for Rep. Kinzinger against a flamethrower in this gop CD.
Another flamethrower, Kay Ivey, is running against GOP Gov. Rauner .

Funny you cons said Trump was such a GREAT negotiator and uniter. The only thing he has done is not lead, blame others and been the MOST divisive President in the past three decades.

That's pretty much BS. But you probably thought is would divert attention from Leftist problems.

Or were you just channeling Obama?

Translation: “yep you’re right, I can’t refute what you said so I’ll just post some BS comment”. You should have just said that instead of that dumb post of yours.

In the same way that a suspect who is innocent hides in a basement crawlspace when the police come knocking?

The only madness going on is another group of people cheering on a wannabe Nixon because they don't want to admit they managed to back the lamest horse due to ideological demands.

All it takes is a memo drafted by people who want to destroy Trump's enemies for people to feel vindicated in saying "see? Trump's enemies are bad!". You know we don't have and cannot have all the facts. But somehow, you just know it's a farce. A "madness". Uhuh....

Look like we have some Trump induced dissention within the Republican party.

Not all republicans are Trumpers. Some never have been. Remember the Never-Trumpers during the Republican Primaries? They only made up 10-15% of the GOP, but they were there. Also remember that Trump won the nomination getting an average of 35% of the votes during the primaries. But in the large field, that was enough. Even on election day, 8 Nov 2016 only 47% of all republicans had a very favorable view of Trump, 28% somewhat favorable, 11% somewhat unfavorable and 15% very unfavorable. Question 11.

That at least a quarter of all Republicans who didn't care much for Trump. But since Trump received 88% of the Republican vote, even those who viewed Trump very unfavorably thought he was better than Hillary Clinton. Or at least half since Hillary did received 8% of the republican vote. 4% of the GOP vote went to third party candidates who probably thought both major party candidates sucked.

I would say there are quite a lot of Republicans not happy with Trump, but view him a lot better than the alternative.

Some of us are still around. And more convinced than ever that this man should not be President.

You're correct and he wouldn't have been if the Democrats ran a decent candidate. According to CNN exit polls half of Trump's votes came from those who were voting against Clinton. Not necessarily for Trump, any Tom, Dick or Harry would do. But they wanted Clinton to lose so bad, they were willing to vote for Trump.

http://www.cnn.com/election/2016/results/exit-polls

Then there are the 8 million of us who voted third party rather than vote for either Trump or Clinton. 6% of the electorate. What's amazing when they, those who voted for third party candidates was asked if they could redo their vote today or a month ago when the poll was taken, 9% said they would vote for Trump, 7% for Clinton and 80% for whomever they voted for, Johnson, Stein, Castle or some other third party candidate. Even today, Hillary is shown no love, heck neither is Trump by those who voted against both major party candidates.

Here's something interesting: 12 months later, Trump would probably still win the 2016 election
