Some far-left groups have encouraged peaceful protests to turn violent, experts say

Tell that to rightwing nutjobs, like Governor DeSantis:

"If you’re driving on one of those streets and a mob comes and surrounds your vehicle and threatens you, you have a right to flee for your safety. And so if you drive off and you hit one of these people, that’s their fault for impinging on you."

If that isn't a license to kill protesters, what is?
Two words. Reginald Denny.

Trusting to the kindness of the mob is a good way to end up in hospital or dead.

It's interesting that when people talknabout violence during the BLM protests, they don't mention police brutality.

"Lawyer T. Greg Doucette and mathematician Jason Miller compiled a list of videos posted on Twitter showing evidence of alleged police brutality, which as of July 26, 2020 contained more than 830 videos.[3][4][5] Investigative journalism website Bellingcat documented over 140 police violence incidents against journalists during the protests.[6] The U.S. Press Freedom Tracker found there were almost as many press freedom violations in one week as for the entire year in 2019.[6]"

The tyranny is back.

You're arguing that people driving in their cars and minding their own business are committing tyranny and deserve to be targeted with harassing, threatening, and aggressive behavior.

That's some very weird shit to be posting.

that they are typically decentralized with no leadership structures. But they can be highly adept at using social media,
Both are calling cards of ANTIFA

Some far-left groups have encouraged peaceful protests to turn violent, experts say...

Some ""experts say"", OK, but that sounds more like President Donald Trump in his speech of January 6th when he mentioned "peacefully" in passing one time but excitedly exhorted the crowd to "FIGHT" 25 times to save the country from Congress doing their Constitutional Duty that day.

That said, if "some far-left groups" are stoking folks to violence and unlawfulness during peaceful protests then the appropriate authorities should investigate these claims, without political bias, and bring any person(s) found to be breaking any laws to justice.

Period!

I am not and have never been tolerant of criminal undertaking by anyone of any political bent.

Period!

I'm arguing that tyranny results in violent protests in American history. That sometimes harms innocent people, but the harm of innocents created by the tyranny is far worse.

Okay. So does that mean you're advocating for violence now because you believe we're living under tyranny in 2025?
