If you accuse someone without any evidence that they are a child molester, I cannot offer any evidence that they are not one. Similarly, if a habitual liar without any evidence accuses Haitians of eating people's pets in Ohio, I cannot offer any evidence that they are not doing what he is accusing them of without any evidence. (See Russell's teapot:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell's_teapot)
However, I don't like to accuse people of things they have not done, particularly people that have already faced a lot of adversity in life like Haitian immigrants have faced, so if someone without evidence accuses them of eating people's pets, I dismiss that claim because they didn't provide any evidence for it. Why would I do that? Because, I have a conscience and I try to have integrity. Support of my "tribe" or a political candidate is not worth me sacrificing my conscience or integrity. This is why I argue on here with people on the left all the time when I think they are wrong about something. For example, this is why I condemned Biden's handling of the pullout from Afghanistan on here, even started threads about it. This is why I said Biden should drop out of the race when it was apparent he was half senile. This is why in October of 2024, I started a thread on here detailing why Harris was going to lose. This is why after she lost, I started a thread detailing how toxic woke politics and identity politics were.
You are on here arguing that you don't know if Haitians were eating people's pets or not even though there is zero evidence they were doing that. I would be ashamed to accuse a whole group of people of something like that without evidence or have a take of "well, who knows if they were...", when there was no evidence of it, but I guess some people are really tribal and they just can't go against their tribe no matter what. It's sad, and people from both sides doing that is a lot of what is wrong with our country today.
