Some browsers store a whole bunch of favicons in a folder that you need to go find and empty. I can find an example from one of my past cleaning jobs, if you'd care to see what I mean. I mean, folders as full as the cache folder, which can get mighty huge.DePo12-Posts-250528t-image.webp
 
Closing this thread as the software update has been a success. The software update has nothing to do with the website performance.
