So who thinks the Congressional Republicans will pull another Lucy?

Today is the ... what, fourth or fifth time everyone thought there was deal going to go through, and each time the Congressional nutters have pulled a Lucy (think Charlie Brown), and yanked the ball out of play entirely.

What's your take? Is this one going through or will we see another Lucy?

Seems unlikely though not impossible. Too close to a time with too significant impact without a deal.

I would like to say that house reps are smart enough to recognize their loss and not trash the country out of spite, but given I have been proven wrong on so many occasions by them for thinking they had an ounce of intelligence I will reserve any predictions along those lines. I simply do not know they have that much intelligence anymore. They will have to prove it at this point. Even then they have pretty much shown they would rather mung up the country over a pointless stand they could not win than actually propose a bill of their own to address the problems we have with health insurance.
