Just an fyi, this particular case that's the subject of the thread, assumes Obama was born in Hawaii and that there's not anything funny or amiss about his birth certificate.This case is not interested in Obama's birth certificate at all.

This presents a good opportunity to Arnold Schwarzenegger to run for president in 2012, knowing that nobody can demand to see his birth certificate or challenge his citizenship.

Tell us what this case is really about. Hint: It is not about his birth certificate.

Personally, I just cannot imagine that he made it to this point, and is NOT in fact a natural born American. It boggles the mind that he could go so far without some proof that he was born elsewhere.

HOWEVER, that's not the discussion I wish to get into. Let's discuss this not on the issue of Obama's actual citizenship, but on how the SCOTUS will act on the issue.

The most likely outcome is that they find some reason to ignore it. If they take up the case, they look petty, if they do not... well the media isn't gonna rake them over the coals.

Personally, if I were on the Court, I'd just say "You will provide the document in question. Period." If Obama refused I'd then do everything the Court can to make his life hell. It's one thing to be stubborn, it's another to carry it on to this level.

However, should his BC come out through this method, I think it would weaken him a little. The flipside being, enough all ready, why WON'T he release it. It's the fact he refuses to that irks me.
