Trump didn't like the jobs report, so he fired the director, do you think he'll be touting the numbers come November?

Oh sure. The bad part is that if the BLS report doesn't match ADT, everyone will say the BLS numbers are faked. Now, how Trump is going to pressure ADT into claiming a lot of new jobs, I don't know. But as we have seen ADT numbers were accurate.
 
Yes, I don’t see how anyone rational can trust any facts or figures coming out of this administration anymore- other than dangerously delusional cult of base followers who just want to believe.

This country’s descent into a $hithole banana republic is complete.
 
Trump has no idea how these reports are put together and why they are revised. He doesn't even know that the prior two months are always revised as the final data from the companies comes in. He has zero interest in understanding how anything actually works, he only cares about how the numbers reflect on him. As President he should be looking at this and saying "holy heck what's causing this what's going on" and perhaps adjust his policies. That's what Presidents who care about the country do. Instead he looks at it and blows a gasket because it makes him look bad. I can't even begin to imagine what the US looks like in 3 years with this egomaniac running the show and nobody with the guts to rail him in

One thing is for certain the numbers going forward will be suspect and could even cause more uncertainty for companies who use the data .

I don't think people will pay attention to either the ADT or BLS numbers.

They will look at their own lives when Uncle Bob is on the last week of his Unemployment Insurance.

Or when their own resumes get no responses.

That's absolutely true for many but the Trumpers watching Fox, many whom are retired, will sit back and listen to Fox and think everything is just rosy. Heck even when the numbers are bad Trump and Fox find a way to spin them as somehow good or call them fake and bobble heads bobble.

Any business that bases their decision on Fox's numbers will be vulnerable since good business forecasting should be based on reality.

Honestly, I think this is a great opportunity for @aociswundumho to come in and wax poetic about how the private sector can take this over now that Trump has screwed up the agency.

Trump has effed up much of what used to be dependable and utterly reliable data coming from our government. Now, anything that comes from government is questionable, since the current ‘administration’ is, like Trump himself, fundamentally dishonest.

We will have to rely on other data for reliability.
 
You know, Trump fired the BLS Head because he didn’t like the numbers. This is after he got caught lying by Jerome Powell and after claiming he lowered prescription drug prices by 1,500%.
 
Why does anyone believe or trust everything that comes out of this White House and his administration? I get his supporters love him but come on now - it's not all sunshine and roses 24/7. Lies are lies and covering up the truth doesn't make it any less true.

imo, I am highly skeptical of anything the White House puts out.
Trump said the elections were rigged when he lost.
Trump said the jobs report was rigged when he did not like the numbers.

I see a pattern.

Trump is deeply and fundamentally dishonest. He is a liar. That is what he is and what he does.
Everything he says is suspect. Every single thing.
HIs history of lies and fraud is undeniable.
He has managed to surround himself with people who are absolutely willing to lie with him and for him on a regular basis.
It is depressing to realize that so many US citizens have so little self-respect.

Trump claimed he lowered drug prices by 1500%?

It is not possible to lower prices by any more than 100%.

If prices are lowered 100%, then the item is free.

Anything more than 100%, mathematically, means the 'seller' is paying the buyer to take the product.

As usual Dysfunctional Donald is talking out his rear.

Why anyone ever believes him is a constant source of amazement.

You could be like Powell, and have 41 years experience working in jobs related to financing and economics (including high-placed gov't positions). But when you enter a room & Trump is there, that experience doesn't mean an ounce of shit to him. He's the genius. Not you. Even with several failed & bankrupted business ventures....he's still the genius. He's right, You're wrong.
