Come on. Is there anything more Republican at this moment in time than THAT??

"Six of Jordan's wrestlers told Politico in 2018 that sexually aggressive men who either worked at the University or attended it were constantly preying on the young wrestlers. They would masturbate while watching them in the shower and engage in sex acts in front of them where they trained. One wrester said he knows Jordan was aware of these things because he would yell at them to get out of the shower area while they were doing it.

One former coach who worked with Jordan told Politico, "It was a cesspool of deviancy."

Former champion Dunyasha Yetts said he told Jordan about the abuse from Dr. Strauss and asked Jordan if he would accompany him to the doctor's office after he was injured because he was worried what he might do. Yetts said, "For him to say he didn't know? I asked him to come in there with me!"

...

"A former Captain of the wrestling team, Anthony DiSabato testified before the Ohio legislature in 2020 that Jim Jordan knew about the sexual abuse and told him to lie about it. DiSabato was urging the House to extend the statute of limitations since it has expired before the victims came forward. The Republican House refused."

They can't have such a valuable deviant liar in jail when he would be so useful in the con Congress! We know even if it was officially acknowledged that Jordan lied about the sexual abuse, there's no way they would remove from Congress such a valuable man to their aims.

God gave him a lot of testosterone, not his fault. The up side is, it makes him a great leader!

(true words from an evangelist about Trump)
Not much raises my ire more than these hypocrite Confederate heretics.

Oh yes, and about men in their church accused of molesting people. They forgive, and not forgiving can itself be seen as bad, they excuse it with men are powerful, the downside is they're aggressive. God knows this, and forgives it. I can't find the exact story I was reading, I think it was a MSN run, but it's easy to find similar because it's true.
Here's a sample of what I'm talking about.

This kind of theological forgiveness means perpetrators can move on without any accountability or concern for the people victimized by their actions. That, according to many of Kavanaugh’s defenders, he is a good man who has lived an upstanding life since such high school misdeeds is evidence enough that he is forgiven and has no need to account for, much less atone for, what he did—despite its ongoing effects on the life of Blasey Ford, and the survivors who have now joined her in alleging him of assault and even rape. The perfect example of this theology of forgiveness shows up in mega-church pastor Andy Savage’s apology to his parish after an incident of his own sexual misconduct became public earlier this year.

Twenty years ago, Savage drove a high school student home from church; along the way, he stopped and pressured her to perform oral sex. When she reported the incident, the pastor of the church allowed Savage to resign his youth minister position without public accountability—and so, Savage moved on in his career with no real consequences. The incident only became public when his victim, motivated by Matt Lauer’s removal from NBC, emailed him to ask if he remembered what he did. When Savage didn’t respond, the woman went public. When Savage addressed the issue on a Sunday morning in front of his church, her offered an apology to his victim and to the church, and the congregation stood and applauded him.

In evangelical culture, women are also often pressured to forgive their abusers, furthering a cycle in which accountability evades men like Savage. Once someone has repented and been forgiven by God, no one should continue to hold something against him—and, in fact, the woman may herself be sinning by refusing to forgive.

Evangelical belief in women’s submission also reinforces a secondary status that gives men much greater authority and credibility than their accusers when they allege harassment, abuse and assault.
When beloved women’s evangelical leader Beth Moore, who herself believes in women’s submission, dared to challenge evangelical sexism and support for Trump in light of his mistreatment of women, evangelicals turned on her. Complementarians claim to believe in women’s equal worth with men, but maintain that God has ordained gender roles that involve women’s submission—yet, when Southern Baptists passed a resolution opposing women in ordained ministry, part of their reasoning was that Eve was “first in the Edenic fall,” thereby sentencing all women to subordination because of her sin, her unreliability and her sexuality.

Wonder how much that will increase his approval rating?

<<<<----- Joey B ...his 3 hour siesta.

I'm sure if HBO is airing it , it will be a true documentary . Free from partisan bias,

Should we believe all the guys who've accused Jordan of turning a blind eye to sexual abuse or not? It's so hard to keep track of who we are supposed to believe and who is partisan or a gold digger.

It's really quite easy . trump and Trumpers are to be believed anyone who challenges them or crosses them or criticize them are just out to get him....which is one hell of a lot of people.

Look I don't even like or care about Jordan.or even know whether ot not he did anything wrong. I just know if it's on HBO it's going to be a smear job and we won't know the answere to that.

🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh no! Someone who ignored sexual abuse is going to get "smeared". Someone save him!
🤣🤣🤣

Liberals are always ginning up abuse scandals against political opposition or against people they just don't like. They shot their wad with Kavanaugh and now everyone sees the game.

🤣🤣
Somebody who is a Republican is going to get smeared as if he did ignore sexual abuse whether he did or didn't .

Remember Trump bragged about walking in on underage girls in a dressing room?
Remember Kavanaugh sexually assaulte Christine Ford?
I'm sure we are going to see the same level of accuracy here.

You don't care that while Jordan was a coach at Ohio State he may have been complicit or aided others in the sexual abuse of Ohio State students? That's a sketchy hill to die on.

Look at you giving sexual abusers a free pass now. Guess when the MAGA choice for POTUS is a rapist you have to turn the other way.

Hmmmm—the timing is very suspect. How long have they had this show sitting in the vault? Now all of a sudden it will be aired just as Jim Jordan declares for the House Speaker? Very suspicious timing, but it will insure a larger audience, won’t it?
