Hi there.

My names Zyphlin.

I enjoy making threads. I like my threads to be about...I know this may just sound CRAAAAAZY...the topic I made they're made about.

If you start to derailing my topic, as the threads originator, I'm going to make a comment to ask you to STOP derailing my thread, because you know...you're KILLING INDEPENDENT THREAD!

Notice, that when I do that I won't be using this HANDY little thing

Moderator's Warning:
Yo, I'm a mod bitch, see me type in these cool box thingy's yo?

That's cause that's a Moderator Box, and I use it...like the other mods...to do things as, once again I know this may sound crazy, a Moderator. If I'm not saying something in that box, that means I'm just speaking as joe average poster.

You see, I feel...and I'm guessing the mod team feels...its a bit of a conflict for me to moderate a thread I've started up. So when I make comments to get you on topic, you can treat me like any other poster. You can ignore me, you could flame me, you could explain to me why its on topic...be my guess. However, getting huffy at me like me like a child told "No you may not have a cookie" for being a "Biased Mod" or anything like that, is rather useless...cause you know, I'm not acting as a mod there. Now will I ever ask a mod to do anything about a thread outside of the normal method other posters do.

So, please...if you see my threads, join them. I am going to post in them, and respond in them, just like I normally do. Just like in my political ideology thread asking peoples thoughts on thing, I went after Navy and some others that purposefully started steering it from its intent (WOW! OMG! Zyphlin went over NAVY! I thought they were like butt-buddies because they both have an (R) next to their name!). However, I like to think in general the intent of them is usually pretty good, so if you actually just focus on those lovely, intelligent posters that are actually talking about the intended topic, I'm sure it will be a wonderful, enlightening talk and actual, civil, debate.

Thanks.

I just read that seven times, and it doesn't make a shite of sense.
I can't even understand what you're talking about.

Bad day at work, to come home to a bad day on the computer, and needing to blow off steam :-D

Ahhh, the wonders of the basement.

Also a possible thing for me to keep to link to people to save me from typing at a later date

He's talking about trains that get derailed. Not sure if he means Amtrak or some other train.

So...........read any good books lately?

(Sorry Zyph.....I just couldn't resist )

Some threads are so boring that it's a blessing when they're derailed. I know I frequently derail threads. If they're nonsensical and retarded to begin with then I'll just start talking about whatever. There's always the option for someone else to come along and get back on track. But in the meantime I don't see a problem with just going off on random tangents. Sometimes the random tangent actually saves a thread from an early death.

Moderator's Warning:
It's "The Basement". Please capitalize.

Carry on.

If a thread Sucks....Ignore it, try not to Trollishly Derail it.

Here's a cool concept.....reply when you have something to add!

Unless you are picking on a member of the "Gang of Five"....then I think most can understand the need to debase.

Bah!

I say basement in honor of the other non-uppercased word that shall not be spoken...even though I think he says it has to be capitalized, so perhaps I will say Basement.

teacher was very explicit about the capitalization of Warden and The Basement.

You should hear who he thinks should be Warden. :rofl

I think what Zyphlin is saying is that it is quite annoying to find a thread you started on a decent topic being derailed by some of our regular derailers.

Yo check this out I can mod too in this cool nifty looking box

There is a certain skill involved in derailing threads. You have to tie it into the story, and then move away. Take for instance the story about the worlds tallest building in the BN section. It is no longer about how to build or the logistics of building a mile high building, but has rather evolved into a discussion of how fast cats fall from certain distances. And it was all started when IT said he wanted to throw something from the building and I made a correlation between an old story (Marine throws puppy off a cliff) by stating that he would only be able to hear the puppy yelp for so long. He then brought the cat into the discussion by stating that a cat would not land on its feet, which invariably led to a mathematical analysis of falling cats by jfuh.

THATS FUCKING TEAMWORK

Zyph is preemptively whining about future derailments. but then he starts getting sarcastic about how some people might assume he's in cahoots with other people just because they lean right. he derailed his own topic.

this thread is hilarious.

speaking of hilarious, i just farted.

Oh he is soooo cute! I'd love to breed him with either of my cockers. Too bad their fixed.

Mine is fixed, too. What color are yours? How old are they?
