No, I would say Trump has done far more to disrespect the United States than any outsider could even hope to do. The Mayan Calendar was a huge joke.


All one had to do as open a text book in an library and they would know that the Mayan calendar stopped because they ran out of space.....and interest.

We think of the Mayans, like we do the Aztecs, as one entity seen from it's peak as a society. The Mayans died off for a reason. amid such calamity it is dubious to believe that a cratering society could maintain the calculations of the calendar for ever. It's like they diminished and simply gave up on the project after disease and/or famine reduced their numbers.

As usual, when we find a mystery we have usually made a mystery.

If you frame the question in terms of danger to American democracy, the answer is clearly trump. Nobody else on the list is capable of doing the kind of damage that trump is doing right now, and has already done. Short of a nuclear strike by Putin, which is unlikely, of course.
