Simple question, what is the cause of so much criticism of Trump.

Why is there SO MUCH criticism of Trump?

It can no longer be denied. It's a mental disorder on the same level as depression. The American Psychiatric Association has added Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) to the 5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental disorders.

This is a lie.

The DNC and democratic party leaders used all their powers to ensure no creditable candidate challenged Biden during the primaries. Then after the debate, the DNC and Democratic party leaders once again used their powers to more or less force Biden to withdraw. That left them with a dilemma. All the campaign cash raised by the Biden/Harris ticket wouldn’t be available to any other candidate other than Harris. Harris was the only one who could use the money raised up to that point by the Biden/Harris campaign.
It seems because they were so rigid, they cut off their noses to spite themselves. They should have primaried the guy when the poll numbers were saying he was too fragile for another term. 78% in an 8-'23 AP-NORC Poll said he was too old to run again.
Hence, money decided, or money helped the DNC and democratic party leaders decide Harris would be their nominee. All done with no input from the democratic base.
That was just wrong not to listen to the democratic base OR the independents, but I do understand what you're saying.

There are reasons why the DNC and democratic party leaders did what they did. History shows no sitting president has won reelection nor his replacement when that sitting president was challenged in the sitting presidents party primaries.

1952 Kefauver challenged Truman, Truman withdrew, Stevenson lost to Eisenhower

1968 McCarthy challenged LBJ, LBJ withdrew, Humphrey lost to Nixon

1976 Reagan challenged Ford, Ford lost reelection to Carter

1980 Ted Kennedy challenged Carter, Carter lost reelection to Reagan

1992 Buchanan challenged G.H.W. Bush, Bush lost reelection to Bill Clinton

You can bet the DNC and Democratic party leaders were well aware of this history when they decided to do all they could to ensure Biden wasn’t challenged in their primaries once Biden decided to run for reelection.

I know why they did it, (you explained this well), but going forth with Biden worked out to be even a heavier gamble. He just wasn't equipped mentally or physically for another term.

You have been had.

awww. You deleted your post before I could rub your nose in the lie you fell for!

Hah Hah!

Any chance you might question anything else your feeds fed you?

NM. We both know you won’t!

What is your source for the above statement?

I'm not sure why you can't distinguish between that and your quoted definition of Trump Denial Syndrome: "excusing any and all behavior of their leader".
You aren't sure? Let me enlighten you.

Number 2 is TDS, which you selected as a reason there is so much criticism of Trump.

My response was:
I am glad you recognized TDS as a real neurosis.

That's hardly Trump Denial Syndrome.
It isn't? Ok let's continue the conversation.

Yet you chose TDS.

So you don't like the Denial Syndrome but are still pushing the other definition of TDS:
Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real phenomenon.

Clearly, you repeated defense of Trump, claiming TDS is a reason for criticism indicates perfectly that...........
Your reaction indicates that the other TDS is working perfectly on you.

Your defensive posture also indicates you don't like the accusation of TDS thrown back at ya. We on the left laugh off the excuse of TDS, yet when we accuse those on the right of suffering a different kind of TDS, they don't laugh it off - as evident by our reactions - and instead become very defensive.
