*sigh* another day another cop beating up an innocent person.

Wait, are you claiming cops don't beat up people for fun everyday of the week?

I know it's not as bad as it was 50 years ago but it is still widespread systemic abuse.
And you personally know this? Exactly how? Where did you get your information on the numbers of this happening?

I give 2 shits about how rare these incidents are. I support the police, but bad cops like that ****er who kicked that handcuffed and prone guy in the head need to be treated like the criminals they are and punished to the fullest extent. Disgusting.

I agree. Except I have no problem with getting rid of the slime on this earth that commits horrible crimes and I don't care how long you lock up people who steal, or harm others. If you can't live in society by it's commonly accepted standards then you deserve to be put away. Oh, and that goes for everyone.

Yep. I agree. You ever see the movie "No Escape"? Where they put all the criminals on the island "Absolom" to live amongst each other and drop them supplies once a month? Im all for that.

Without cameras these cops would still be doing it and in one of the cops 19 year career... just imagine how many innocent people were beaten up and put in prison. That is what Cop Apologists insult... not the one innocent person being beaten... but the dozens and dozens of other innocent people that faced abuse over the decades by these obvious tyrants.

How about we go back in the past and find all those cops that we believe beat someone up to your un-satisfaction?
Then we hound them on social media to make them feel bad about what they did?
Would that remedy the situation you see today?

Not a single person on this forum ever said that they supported bad cops hurting innocent people Bhodi.

You know it.

Your compulsive urges to defame the profession went way past petulant and obnoxious a long time ago.

Phoenix shooting leaves 9 officers hurt, woman critically injured; barricaded suspect dead

PHOENIX - An hours-long barricade situation in south Phoenix left nine police officers injured, one woman critically injured and the suspected gunman dead early Friday morning, officials said.

The incident began after a woman had reportedly been shot in a home near 54th Avenue and Elwood just after 2 a.m. on Feb. 11. When an officer approached the house, a suspect inside reportedly opened fire, hitting him multiple times.

At some point during the standoff, a man inside the home walked out and placed a baby on the ground before being detained. He was seen on video walking outside dropping the child off, then walking toward police with his hands up.
Four more officers were shot when they tried to bring the baby to safety, and officials say police fired back towards the suspected gunman. At least three other officers were hurt by bullet shrapnel, police said.

You get the police you're willing to put up with.

This has been true since modern policing began in the 1830s.

It is your idea... what do you think of it?

Oh. That is fair. I guess that 3 or 4 people hanging out together in their Basement long enough will start to think alike.

Basement?
If you only knew, if you only knew.

Peace brother

A flimsy idea for a time travel story.
There will always be some bad cops doing bad things.
They should be identified, disciplined, perhaps tried, convicted, and jailed - according to the law.

That is great. I am glad you are on the side of Right.
