When Vladimir Putin steps out of whatever vehicle brings him to the military base in Anchorage AK, should 'Mr. Law and Order' have Putin arrested?

A warrant for Mr. Putin has been issued by the ICC for war crimes.
If he did that, I would stand and applaud. Immediately before I left for the bunker.

This is kind of hilarious. For one, **** Russia, For two, they're already engaging in an act of war.
They aren't engaged in military action against the United States. It is utterly absurd to think that Russia would just sit there and do nothing if we arrested Putin. The question is not whether Putin is a criminal, of course he is. The question is would anything good come out of arresting Putin.

Better off arresting the former leader of this country. :D
Which one? Biden? Not much sense in arresting the guy but exposing all the bullshit his administration pulled and arresting those that facilitated the bullshit is probably a good idea. Schiff, for example, would be an excellent one to put behind bars. Comey, Wray, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper and a whole mess of Biden staffers should also be arrested and tried for their role in the "Russiagate" and subsequent scandals. Biden, if he were more mentally competent, should probably also be in that mix but at this point I'm not so sure he would be able to answer questions.

The U.S. undoubtedly committed war crimes, yet nobody tried to arrest the president or other figures involved at diplomatic meetings for a reason.
Are you just going to reply with the same thing over and over? It's boring.

What a ridiculous question.

Does a bear shit in the woods?
That's a yes, right?
So that looks like you are saying that the Trump administration should arrest Putin. Is that what you meant to say?

I can point out why trying to arrest Putin at a diplomatic meeting is a terrible idea all day.

Assuming it doesn’t devolve into a shootout on the spot, the best case scenario is no country the U.S. is on bad terms with ever agrees to a diplomatic meeting in person again.

The answer is:
YES - if you want to start WW111
NO - if you still have functioning brain cells.
The world is already on the road to WWIII. Hopefully it can be avoided but I don't think Trump is going to finish what Putin started.

Well a meeting in the U.S. with a world leader who has a warrant for their arrest most likely wouldn't.

Strange that it's okay for Putin to do that.

War criminal Netanyahu showed up in the U.S. and got a heroes’ welcome.

Strange that the U.S. only pretends to care about war crimes when countries we don’t like do them.

Russia is an adversary of the U.S., more so than China, neither party is going to say that about Israel. That's a barrel they don't want to be stretched over for sure.

You are completely right about the hypocrisy of the U.S. by the way.

Yes, and turn himself in after.

But think about it. If there's one story that would kill the Epstein files...

The meeting should not take place at all, specifically so that that decision never comes up.

I'm not a bear.
Let's recap.
The OP asked, "Should Trump have Putin arrested"
You replied with an insult ...

What a ridiculous question.
Then you said ..
Does a bear shit in the woods?
Is your answer to the poll - Should Trump have Putin arrested - a yes or a no?

Because we all know that the answer to "Does a bear shit in the woods?" is a yes.

Your replies here look like a big swing, a miss and perhaps you also hit yourself with the bat.

A warrant for Mr. Putin has been issued by the ICC for war crimes.

The United States originally signed the Rome Statute, then withdrew its signature under George Bush in 2002.

123 countries (including Canada and Mexico) must arrest Putin if he steps foot onto their territory. The US is not among those 123 countries. Shameful.

Trump should not have invited a mass murderer to the United States. UAE was unavailable?

Yes.

And have him perp-walked in front of every media outlet in the world in hand and leg irons.

That assumes any of the Americans survive the firefight that would ensue to attempt such a thing.

I mean I get the sentiment, but there are important issues.

Putin was invited. You don't invite a head of state then arrest them when they land. Also, the United States isn't party Rome Statute. The only leaders ICC arrest warrants apply to are those of African countries, which is an issue unto itself. There was talk of the ICC issuing an arrest warrant for Bush years ago, but no country has the balls to take an American president, sitting or former, into custody.

You don't invite an indicted war criminal to the United States.

UAE was booked? Dubai?
