If they are a separate party as the claim then yes. Otherwise its a lets suckers into voting for republicans again under the false premise that they are voting for change.

Naaa. They should just stay where they are at right now and slowly die out which what is happening right now.

it is. but they have inadequate voter base, so most libertarians run as republicans.

geo.

So then last fall when they got in like a fungus! they were all on pub ticket?

Also if they are on ppubticket then they are doing a great job of bring down the gop even further.

Just because libertarians are a part of the TP movement doesn't mean that most of the TP is libertarian. Most of the TP is fiscally conservative, consisting of Republicans, Independents, and Libertarians. There is also about 8% democrats. There is no need for a 3rd party. There is just a need to take over the establishment big spender republicans, since they are closest to having the same political views as the tea party.

why not? Because they just are more extreme with same basic beleifs?

Please explain extreme. Did you get that buzz word from Schumer or was it Durbin a while back? When he suggested that the word extreme should be used whenever possible against the Republicans.
Do you consider wanting to cut the deficit and balance our budget, extreme? I consider the spending that has been going on as extreme. I consider ramming through a HC bill that is 1/6 of our economy extreme.
I really don't see the exrtremism that everyone says is on the right.

Hmmn pretty sure I knew that word all by mysaelf. Did not know that those others used it. HUH! Balancing the budget on the backs of the middle class is extreme. They also seem to be very much "libertarian" they seem to go to extremes. Although they are right half the ti me.

you are right of course. there are two basic factions (discounting all the bubbas who go to TP rallies for the Schlitz and chicks) - Libertarians and The Religious Right wing.

in any event, if they run, they will run as republicans.
