Right now I feel it's necessary to point out that our economy went into the ****ter WHILE these cuts were in place.
spoken like a true tax consumer-maybe you ought to start paying for what you use and stop demanding that others carry your share of the load

My household makes six figures. Get over yourself.
Sure, but that's no reason to believe that raising them will have no adverse consequences. IMO we need to prioritize the short-term problem of fighting the recession; we can tackle the deficit problem when the economy starts to recover. While I'd rather have another large dose of stimulus spending, I recognize that that isn't likely to happen. As such, extending all or some of the tax cuts for another year is probably the best economy-growing policy at our disposal.
Sure it does-that is less than what I pay each quarter
Sure it does what? Do you speaky the English?
Secondly, You're right. Those tax payers who make over a hundred thousand a year are big loafers on society. Oh I feel such shame. Get over yourself.

you get over yourself--your arrogant attitude that a 10% tax increase shouldn't bother those who already pay way too much in taxes is pathetic. Spite and envy is what motivates most of those who want those who are more productive than they are to pay more taxes.
your posts prove that. do you actually work?
The Tax Foundation - Obama Lets Part of Bush Tax Cuts Expire; McCain Lets Virtually None ExpireObama's income tax plan is relatively clear. There are only a few parts of the Bush tax cuts that are not extended under Obama. They include: reducing of the top two rates (33 goes to 36 and 35 to 39.6)
you said your HOUSEHOLD
IT refers that
The Bush tax cuts are due to expire on 31 December 2010....Should they be extended?
Absolutely not. Tax cuts and reduced spending gets us out of economic trouble everytime. More spending, bigger government = more depression.
The poll question looks as though it was crafted by Rasmussen.

Based on what?
Conservative logic says that tax cuts are the solution to everything. Don’t try to question it with your “liberal” logic unless you’re willing to eat flurry of ad hominems.
Based on what? I don't remember tax cuts being the solution to the depression.
I'll flip out completely and register myself as a freaking Democrat just to spite the Republicans if they continue this childish "no no no" crap. If they're going to insist on being nothing but tweens then so will I!
They're starting to remind me of Hitler in one scene out of Inglorious Bastards - "nein nein nein nein nein!"
ARGH!
how is that doing anything good for anyone!
:soap
Eventually we will need to raise taxes to get the deficit under control.
