Let me be up front by apologizing to the DP staff for using such a deliberately debasing title question. The fact is that I was torn between using this one, and using a less threatening title such as, “Is it possible for liberals to assimilate into the American culture?”…or “Would liberals be more comfortable living abroad?” At any rate, being the kind and reasonable gentleman that I am--I would never suggest we mandate a law for the deportation of every American citizen claiming to be a liberal; unless of course, there are some that feel this issue should be debated in an intelligent manner, and in a proper context here at DP. Time will tell.
The following are but a few reasons why I think the liberal mindset is un-American in nature, a means for possible immediate deportation, and or at the very least--reason enough to join their liberal brethren like Richard Gere by meeting the Dali Lama, and with the possibility of living out their lives abroad as a monk in some obscure foreign monastery where the threat of American Capitalism, a strong military, and stringent traditional Christian values becomes obsolete, i.e. a non factor.
Here are a few groups and individuals that have aligned themselves with the America liberal:
The Green Party, The Socialist Party, American Communist Party, Feminists, Hollywood elitists, Hugo Chavez, Cue Cuverra (sp), Castro, Greenpeace, South American Sandinistas, foreign Communists, workers unions, atheists, agnostics, Gnostics, convicted felons, trial lawyers, multiculturalists, politically correct advocates, impeached presidents., Saddam’s lawyer Ramsey Clark, Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore, abortionists, euthanasia advocates, devil worshipers, NAMBLA rights advocates, and any of your basic pagans.
I put up an earlier post asking for the pagan contributions to our American culture. I didn’t see much if anything, so let me broaden the scope of American culture contributions to include the aforementioned list of people and groups associated with liberals and their ideological makeup. Surely there is one liberal aboard DP that can list some of the more endearing qualities that their people have given to America. Keep in mind that the aforementioned people have a penchant to blame America first for every political issue to date.
* Liberals blamed America first for starting a war by not seeing Iraq’s blatant refusal to honor the many U.N. resolutions.
* Liberals blamed America for wiretapping our enemies.
* Liberals believe it is a woman’s sacrosanct right to murder her unborn.
* Liberals refuse to acknowledge, adhere to, or accept our Constitution, or of our traditional Christian values as handed down by our forefathers.
* Liberals blame our military personnel for the handling/torturing of prisoners, while simply ignoring the bloody beheadings of American prisoners.
* Liberal ACLU is bent on destroying American Christianity as we know it.
* Liberals support unchecked pornography and the teaching of alternative studies in our schools, while substituting for and often eliminating the teaching of the 3-basic R’s of Reading..Righting…and Rithmetic.
The point to these liberal traits is that they all undermine or destroy the basic tenets and traditions that have made America the greatest nation on earth. I have an open mind, and I’m very understanding of the confused and lost souls among us, but I’ve racked my brain trying to find just one positive American ideal by a liberal, and to date…I’m still at a loss to find one. This is where my hope for a conscientious liberal to supply us with one such ideal comes into play.
Lest not forget that if we fail to see positive/promising liberal traits--that we do have that option of voting for their immediate deportation. The poll numbers should be interesting to say the least.
