Should I have been tested for covid?

The only reason I did not get that vaccine last year was Mom told me I was too young; it was only available for old people. Even she did not know when it became available to people in their forties, and she listens to CNN every day.

If you rely on your mother watching a cable network for medical information, no wonder you are on the internet asking randos for it too.

Come on now, this all smells of BS.

No, it took much longer than that to talk to a real doctor - the amount of time we had to drive to the hospital, park in a parking garage, walk to the elevators at the back of the building, go to Medical Specialties on the third floor, and check in, wait for a nurse, then do everything with her, and wait some more time for the doctor to come in. That is how it works around here. UF doctors do not talk on the phone because they have no time for that.

And the results of your test?

I did not get tested. Only Mom could have done that because I was home the whole time.

My left arm still gets store when I stretch or move it the wrong way, over 24 hours after I finally got the shot.

So you got a vaccination but didn't bother to get a test.

Amazing.

If I believed you.

All literature about covid three years ago was it is strictly a respiratory disease. That is why most people were required to wear masks everywhere. After mask mandates were lifted, many people said it is just like a cold - an exclusively respiratory disease.

My aunt lost her sense of taste, but that happened last year, after the newest omicron vaccine became available.

How old are you? 18 year olds could get the vaccines in 2021 mid year

I was talking about the latest vaccine that was invented last year - the bivareal one for multiple strains. I got the original vaccine in 2021, including boosters. The one I got Thursday was the new bivareal booster.. My left arm still hurts if I lift it over my head.

I am 46 years old.
