Ex-presidents are entitled to classified briefings when they are no longer in office. Some ex-intel officials think Trump shouldn't get access to any national secrets when he leaves office. I don't think Trump should have any access at all to confidential presidential daily briefs once he's out of office and I have several reasons why I believe this.

Trump has shared Israeli top security information with two of Russia's top spies in the Oval Office in May 2017.

He released a sensitive surveillance image of Iran by putting them out on Twitter. The day before, on Aug. 29, a rocket had exploded at the Imam Khomeini Space Center in northern Iran. Trump's tweet contained an incredibly sharp image of the aftermath. Visible were burned-out vehicles and lettering around the edge of the pad that couldn't be seen clearly in commercial satellite photos. This was obviously a highly classified reconnaissance satellite image.

He has destroyed the transcript of his secret conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin at Helsinki.

Trump could become more interested in the presidential daily briefs once he's out of office than he ever was when he was in office. He was never interested in them for the past four years but he may find the information in daily briefs valuable to him once he's no longer president. He could easily sell that information to enemies of the US for money.
Trump has not been interested in these briefings while he was president, no reason to give them to him after.

I believe you're so far down the rabbit hole, and are so conned by Republican media and Donald Trump, that you can't be saved.
Says the guy treading water in the loony left shit storm.

Nope, just assembled fhe finest election fraud organiztion ever seen. Don’t believe? Just ask Joe.

:ROFLMAO:

You link to an altered, selectively edited, video AKA a fake video AKA a LIE to try to impugn Joe Biden and his election victory.

That is all you Trump lovers have. Fake claims, fake accusations, unsubstantiated conspiracy BS. The Trump lovers attempts at overturning a totally legitimate election is beyond pathetic.

I voted no, but if past history is to be a guide: Let him. After a couple, he'll find them boring and stop going.

LOL, you Biden cultists are amazing - the Appointed One Part Deux is perfect. That Video is all over the internet - prove it was edited.

Trump has not been interested in these briefings while he was president, no reason to give them to him after.

It's probably because they use too many big words that he's embarrassed to ask what they mean. Plus, he has a very short attention span, that's well documented.

It's over. You're just flailing in the water. Give it a rest. It makes you look like a partisan hack.
As does your blind loyalty and unquestioning devotion to faux-President Biden. If you actually believed the BS you peddle you wouldn’t be derailed by these things.

No -- not "yeah, well we'll see" ... no, it's over. Except for one last shot at some delusional attempt in a Milwaukee courtroom, it's done. His lawyers have covered as many states as they can with charges and allegations without merit and have been dismissed expediently. They packed up, left the project and went back home to their little lawyer lives in their home towns.

It's over.

I have to admire the response of Mr. Trump's lawyers when the judge asked them (and I don't have the exact words, but these are pretty close to them)

Tell me, Sir, are you proposing that we should toss out 1,500,000 ballots simply because you SAY that less than 2,000 of them might have been counted correctly when the margin between Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden is over 20,000?"

Mr. Trump's lawyer's response was (and again I don't have the exact words, but these are pretty close to them)

Wugga wugga wugga.

That level of chutzpah surely deserves recognition from the American Bar Association.

It reminds me of the defence advanced in favour of someone who was charged with "keeping wrecked vehicles" on his property, which defence was that the vehicles could not possibly be "wrecked" because, at law, to be "wrecked" was a maritime term and the property was 10 miles from the nearest seashore. (BTW, it didn't work but the judge did compliment the lawyer for their ingenuity.)

Yeah right-- only Trumpistas would believe that even if this was true that anyone would admit to 'voter fraud'. This is shear desperation on the part of Fox, Eric and Don Trump and you Trumpsters. You people just absolutely LOVE lies and conspiracies. What's wrong with truth, are you allergic to it?

Viral Posts Take Biden Quote on Voter Fraud Out of Context https://www.factcheck.org/2020/10/viral-posts-take-biden-quote-on-voter-fraud-out-of-context/
Quick Take

Social media posts shared by Eric Trump and Fox News host Jeanine Pirro take a quote by Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden out of context to claim he “admits to voter fraud.” Biden was actually describing his efforts to prevent voter fraud and suppression.

Full Story

In the weeks leading up to Election Day, President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed, without evidence, that voter fraud is rampant, as we’ve reported.

Biden actually said he was working to prevent voter fraud.

The posts isolate a clip from Biden’s Oct. 24 appearance on the progressive podcast “Pod Save America.” In the video clip shared in the viral posts, Biden says, “Secondly, we’re in a situation where we have put together, and you guys did it for our administration — President Obama’s administration before this — we have put together I think the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”

The comment was a short piece of Biden’s much longer response to a question from Dan Pfeiffer, one of the podcast hosts and a former communications advisor to former President Barack Obama.

Pfeiffer asked what Biden would say to people who haven’t voted yet or don’t have a plan to vote. In response, Biden gave a three-part answer. He first encouraged people to create a plan by going to IWillVote.com, a site hosted by the Democratic National Committee.

The second part of Biden’s answer began with the “voter fraud organization” clip. He then described ways people can find help if they have trouble voting.

Biden, Oct. 24: But one of the things that I think is most important is those who haven’t voted yet, first of all go to IWILLVOTE.com to make a plan exactly how you’re going to vote, where you’re going to vote, when you’re going to vote. Because it can get complicated, because the Republicans are doing everything they can to make it harder for people to vote — particularly people of color — to vote. So go to IWILLVOTE.com.
Secondly, we’re in a situation where we have put together, and you guys did it for our administration — President Obama’s administration before this — we have put together I think the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics. What the president is trying to do is discourage people from voting by implying that their vote won’t be counted, it can’t be counted, we’re going to challenge it and all these things. If enough people vote, it’s going to overwhelm the system.
You see what’s happening now, you guys know it as well as I do, you see the long, long lines and early voting. You see the millions of people who have already cast a ballot. And so, don’t be intimidated. If in fact you have any, any problem go to — and I don’t have the number but it’s 833-DEM-VOTE… Call that number. We have over a thousand lawyers, over a thousand of them, they’ll answer the phone, if you think there’s any challenge to your voting. Go to 833-DEM-VOTE, dial those letters on your phone. That will get you the assistance that we have already put in place.
When Biden used the phrase “voter fraud organization,” he was referring to the systems put into place to help people who have trouble voting. He wasn’t admitting to voter fraud.

Trump has shown no use for the PDB now, so no.

Don’t make me laugh. FactChecklorg is a hard left propaganda sight at best. This is just gaslighting for gullible lefties.

I gave you the complete transcript and all anyone has to do is read the ****ing transcript to know that your video is a total lie. If you want to talk about gas-lighting that is exactly what you're doing with this foolishness. Words are words, he said those words, and it's nothing like your bogus video pretends it is. I know it's hard to admit when you're wrong and you never will but yes, you are very gullible.

LOL, sure. Funny how that never worked when we gave you th “complete transcript” of Trump pressers.

Nope, just assembled fhe finest election fraud organiztion ever seen. Don’t believe? Just ask Joe.

Your 30 secondish clip is extracted (without contest) from "We got Joe!". A fuller transcript of the deceptively edited video is

Joe Biden: Well, first of all, you know, what really rankles my opponent is I say that the thing that bothers them most is he’s not a patch on Barack’s jeans. I mean, Barack is one hell of a president. And I tell you what, man, what an honor it was, I think you guys believe it, too, to serve with him. An incredible honor. And I’m not being solicitous. I really mean that. He had more integrity in his little finger, than most people have in their whole body. And he had a backbone, like a ramrod, has one. But one of the things that I think is most important is those who haven’t voted yet. First of all, go to iwillvote.com to make a plan. Obviously you have no intention of bothering to pay attention to what was actually said but anyone else who has even the slightest regard for "truth in politics" (or even the future of democratic government in the United States of America) would be well advised to read "Deceptively Edited Video of Biden Proliferates on Social Media" (from The New York Times) or "Four viral videos falsely suggest ‘voter fraud’ led to Biden’s victory" (from The Washington Post).

But, of course since you didn't know that the clip was nothing like an accurate reflection of what was actually said when you posted it you can't be faulted for believing what you were told you had to believe - could you?

LOL, sure. Funny how that never worked when we gave you th “complete transcript” of Trump pressers.
You're wrong, very very wrong.

From Rolling Stone

Fox Fact-Checks Trump and Own Hosts’ Claims of Voter Fraud

While Trump continues to whine about the way some of Fox News’ anchors have covered him during the 2020 presidential election cycle, on Sunday one anchor called his claims of widespread voter fraud baseless, false and an “insult to thousands of election officials.”

Trump ain't gonna like this from Fox… https://t.co/IO2vv6kJQN pic.twitter.com/wtQAXuBl8b

As the Daily Beast’s Justin Baragona pointed out, Eric Shawn not only fact-checked the president but also laid to waste many of his colleagues’ consistent bullshit on the matter.

Earlier on Sunday, Maria Bartiromo used her program on Fox Business to promote the baseless accusation that software used in voter systems swapped Trump votes to Biden votes, but unlike many of the network’s primetime hosts, Shawn tried to set Fox viewers straight.

After reading the software company’s statement denying the allegations, Shawn reported the actual news on the subject.

You do know what it means to put something into context" right? Or have you slid so far down the scale of reality that it no longer matters?

I voted no. And the reason is he's had no interest in them for lord knows how long now. Just like the Covid meetings. They could probably send him envelopes of 30 blank pages a week and he'd never know it unless one of his housekeepers wonder what the pile of stuff was in the corner.
