Should clarence thomas resign in an exchange for a pardon?

Should clarence thomas resign and have biden pardon him?

Just like the jackass?
At the very least Thomas exhibited poor judgement in accepting expensive gifts and not declaring them
Sure. Some, like you, will take whatever smear you can get. Others, like the OP, have already convicted him and sent him to jail.

The relevant ethics rules were tightened on March 14. I don’t think Thomas declared those gifts. I know he didn’t declare them until they were discovered by an investigative reporter.

Since they don’t come from another branch of government presumably the Court will have no qualms with following them.

It’s not clear from the article that Thomas needs to report past gifts - the new rules apply to stays at “commercial properties” and have exceptions for gifts received as “personal hospitality.” The new rules also went into effect 3/14/23 and the article doesn’t state whether it applies to gifts received in the past.

A more valid question:

Should Biden resign in exchange for a pardon for himself and and a handful of family members?
No I think President Biden should stand up & face the music. If & when any charges are brought against him.
The evidence is public against Thomas, although SCOTUS Justices are above the law. The libertarian Billionaire didn't take up with his token black guy until after he became a SC Justice. He bought his mothers home & renovated it, allowing her to
live there rent free. Clarence didn't report the income he recieved from the sale, he also accepted Friendly hospitality in chunks up to 1/2 a Million Dollars. Harlan Crow a Libertarian & Hitler memorabilia collector befriended his personal Uncle Thom after he attained his lifetime appointment, despite sexual harassment accusations leveled by a coworker were summarily dismissed by the presiding Senator after a short glance (3 days) by the FBI. Thomas was confirmed in a squeaker, 52-48. Thomas was appointed to fill the spot of the 1st Black Justice Thurgood Marshal. He was appointed by Geo. H. W. Bush.

Since there is nothing that he has done wrong to deserve prosecution, much less conviction, then you must be blinded by your own confirmation bias thinking he is even at risk of charges, much less incarceration.

There is no evidence of bribery. You have no clue about the law. There must be a quid pro quo, and what is the evidence of that? Just that he has a rich friend who invited him on trips?
Show me a Thomas decision that goes against Nazi Memorabilia collector Crow's libertarian leanings. It's rather evident that they didn't meet at Walmart. Uncle Thom is a collectable to Crow, like a signed copy of Mien Kompf.

You cite nothing illegal

If it's a crime why won't the Biden administration arrest him?

Presidents don't get involved with the Dept. of Justice. DoJ in turn, doesn't necessarily publicize their investigations.
There is no criminal investigation into Thomas. I assure you nothing will be done

Sounds like a Tom Selleck commercial.
Were you outraged too at the Tony Rezko sale?
The presiding senator was Joe Biden as I recall.
Claimes of a pubic hair on a coke can vs. Biden and his family selling access for 50 years.

Are you just being pessimistic or are you onboard the Thomas train?
I am being realistic. Thomas is a moron who should never go near scotus. But there is no evidence he broke any laws

Thomas has shown he lacks any integrity, but he is going to sit there on the bench until he dies or retires, nothing is going to happen to him.

To say a billionaire real estate developer and GOP contributor doesn't have an interest in much of what goes before SCOTUS is beyond absurd.

I'm pretty sure not reporting Thousands of Dollars in income is against the law.
Then he should be arrested. But he won't be.

Because he didn't break the law

Please cite the law that CT broke.
Regardless of whether he broke the law or not, his actions show a complete lack of integrity. I don't even take lunch from a vendor. Over the years, I have been offered numerous expensive dinners, tickets to NFL games and opening day, and all expense paid trips to "tour" facilities. I have always declined. There is no policy against me taking anything from a vendor where I work, but I never want any appearance that I am doing anything with the money my employer trusts me with other than spending it in their best interests.

Thomas took gifts exceeding his yearly salary from a billionaire donor. No one with an ounce of integrity would have done that and anyone that doesn't understand that doesn't have an ounce of integrity. However, I doubt he broke the law or at least broke it sufficiently enough for there to be consequences.

Puh-lease. If Thomas didnt break the law then this is a nothingburger.

There was no violation of the law so nothing to pardon.
Your post indicates who you are, what your values are, the level of integrity of members of the Supreme Court you are willing to tolerate to suit your agenda.
The earliest reporting of Thomas hiding money from Harlan Crow is dated Jan. 22, 2011, below.

The shitstained, "ringmaster of this RWE circus" is Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts.

I think he should resign without any pardons. But that would take character, integrity and patriotism, things that scumbag has never possessed. Just another greedy lying hypocrite who doesn't give a damn about this country or our citizens.
