Again I can concur that I can not say all people who conceal weapons have malicious intent RF including you. My argument actually is I can not say what your intent is at all and so if I am a police officer that is a nightmare. How do they deal with gun bulges and knowing which gun bulge has no malicious intent or more aptly put who could pull a weapon on them or shoot them by accident shooting at a supposed criminal?I think I do try to be civil, to a point. I thank you for the compliment.
If it is a contradiction, it's one imposed on me by my state. A disclaimer though. I don't carry a firearm, or at least haven't for a long time. Decades at least. I do tend to have one nearby that I could hopefully get to in a pinch.
But I would say that malicious intent is not the only reason to conceal something, and that would include firearms.
As for hiding weapons to make oneself less of a target I do not get that argument. A person without a gun or a person who conceals a gun is the same target if we use that argument which means what...every American must carry a concealed weapon because they are a target? That makes zero sense. That would completely arm a society meaning the potential for people to shoot at one another by error mistaking intent and fear of others with concealed weapons would sky rocket.
Is it not bad enough some of you fear your fellow Americans, now you want every American armed and you think that will reduce the fear and not increase it?
