French riot police were seen brutally dragging a priest in ceremonial dress out a of a Parisian church by one arm in images that have infuriated Catholics in France.
Jean-Francois Billot was among twenty people protesting over the demolition of the 100-year-old St Rita, but police arrived with batons and helmets to forcibly remove the congregation yesterday.
It happened just hours apart from the funeral of Father Jacques Hamel, who was knifed to death by ISIS-inspired attacker in his church in Normandy as he celebrated Mass last week.
Anyway, if this is a mosque, would the French govt sends in their police force in riot gears to forcefully evacuate the century old religious building of its priest and worshipers while the religious service was in progress?
If a mosque's imam preaches violent jihad or stashed war grade weapons in the mosque, then it deserved not only be raided by police but also demolished completely off the ground. If this was a mosque would you care?
Well I only found one article that returns a page not found message. If you read your own link you would know the priest and some other people were illegally occupying the church. The priest was resisting being removed.
The century old church should be granted the status of historical heritage for preservation. But the leftist in control doesn't want that for Christianity. Yes, the priest was resisting arrest. But the police just couldn't wait till the service is over before brutally throwing the priest on the ground and hurling him and other worshipers off the church ground in the midst of a worship service?
Illegality doesn't mean anything if it is islam:
If this was a mosque would you care?
It was a service. They even had pet blessing. Watch the video. Followers of islam blocking street for service is also illegal. This has been going on for years in Paris and other places in Europe. The police usually stand around to protect them while they stick their backside to the sky. Did you ever see police issuing tickets or dragging them off the streets to make way for traffic? It was not a service, it was a sit-in protest. Who cares if there was a service, it is still illegal. A century means **** all in Europe.
1-A 100 year old building in France hardly qualifies as 'historical'.
2-The building is privately owned by the Belgian Association of Catholic and Apostolic Chapels and they have been trying to get it torn down for 3 years.
3-This was a protest, not a scheduled mass.
4-You can protest all you want...but you cant whine when the police break up your protest. Hiding behind and exploiting the recent tragedy is repugnant.

Did you even read your own article? They were doing a sit-in illegally. I do not care if they are having a service or not. It is still illegal. They were trespassing on private property.
Did you even watch the video? They were doing a standing up singing worship service with the priest leading the service. Yes, it is still illegal to stick your backside up the sky en mass while blocking the street and trespassing on public walkway and road traffic every week on friday. Why are they still allowed to do so for years now without being dragged away and hauled off?
Nonsense. Stop trying to peddle hypocrisy of double standard to make excuses for islam. Nobody can own public pavement or roadway. City permits are only considered for a one time event. No government dept can grant permit for a routine weekly activities that obstruct pedestrian walkway and vehicle traffic year after year.Again, they were trespassing in the church and protesting, whether or not they are worshiping is irrelevant. Or am I allowed I break into your house and pray? In your case that is public property, so they could have a permit or the city just does not care. Myabe it is a private roadway and they own the land. These situations are not at all comparable.

That does not even make any sense. Unless there is some part of the constitution that I do not know about that expressly prohibits any government from issuing recurring permits. Also someone can own public pavement or roadway, the city/state does.
they stick their backside to the sky
stick your backside up the sky
There's no such recurring permit week after week and year after year for blocking traffic. City/State ordinance, not Constitutional law. And this is Europe we're talking about. Not that it matters.
Because it has been banned Paris since 2010 or 2011 after several complains. And when the govt tried to enforce the ban the muslims put up resistance. How would you know? You do not live there. I am 99% certain cities can do whatever they want with permits.
PARIS (Reuters) — A ban on street prayer came into force on Friday, driving thousands of Muslim worshipers in northern Paris into an improvised prayer site in an old fire brigade barracks, angering a small but vocal minority.
The prayer ban has highlighted France’s difficulties in assimilating many of its five million Muslims, who often lack spaces to pray, and it follows a long-smoldering dispute fanned by the far-right leader Marine Le Pen...
As the prayers began, dozens of young men belonging to a group called Forsane Alizza disrupted the service and jostled with security officers.

Crowds of Muslims are regularly praying on the streets of Paris despite a ban on public worship in France. Police have been ordered not to stop them, despite the fact that they are blocking the streets and preventing residents from accessing their homes in the northern district of the French capital.
A French citizen has allegedly received death threats after secretly recording the scenes and posting the footage on the internet. The hidden camera shows large groups of Muslims breaching the countrys public worship ban while the security forces look on.

Probably shouldn't have resisted arrest, right?
The complete islamization of France and other parts of Europe is coming very quickly with the demise of their Christian root. Thanks to the islamophilic leftists.
