Shocking data shows 15K illegal immigrants in US accused of murder — Kamala Harris visits border

that depends...but yes, it can be an issue with getting a legal status.
My understanding from immigration lawyers is that you have to cross at a border control checkpoint, otherwise your green card application is automatically rejected by USCIS. Is this not correct?

There are waivers, even if you cross at somewhere other than a border checkpoint. Also, there are a variety of visas. What you are talking about is the automatic bar to entry. You don't qualify for a green card at a checkpoint, fyi.

According the the US Customs and Border Protection, "noncitizens" in America registered a grand total of 189 convictions for homicides and manslaughter nationwide, over a period of almost 8 years - an average of 23.6 convictions per year!

There are no statistics as to how many cases of homicides/manslaughter were actually perpetrated against American citizens - as compared to those involving other fellow "noncitizens" stemming from their circle of family (domestic violence), friends and associates!

Some of the totals may actually be inflate the number of "noncitizens" involved - given that account for each convicted in that category, not taking into account those convicted of multiple offenses!

And how many Americans accused of murder? And what does that ratio look like?
The Americans were already here. The crimes commited by illegals are preventable if they aren't let into the country. I guess I cannot repeat this enough.....

Non citizen doesn’t mean undocumented

ICE isn't impeded from making arrests, even in sanctuary cities.
im guess you never heard the story of the sanctuary city judge who let the defendant use the back door out of the courtoom to avoid the ICE detainer

Let the Native Americans have their land back. All immigrants from all continents, send them all back. No more brown, black or white people.

The Americans were already here. The crimes commited by illegals are preventable if they aren't let into the country. I guess I cannot repeat this enough.....

"While poverty and violence have pushed thousands to leave Latin America, U.S. businesses that employ undocumented workers are also a major driver of illegal immigration, experts say. By employing workers without legal status, the Trump Organization has an advantage over its competitors, particularly at a time when the economy is strong and the labor market tight, according to industry officials. Undocumented employees are less likely to risk changing jobs and less likely to complain if treated poorly."
- Washington Post, 2019

"Illegals" would have no incentive to migrate to the US unless their were already 1000's of employers more than willing to hire them, with no questions asked - while exploiting their willingness to work for low wages!

While "illegals are being "demonized" for political purposes, their American employers who should bear an equal responsibility by providing them with jobs, have consistently been excluded from being held accountable for their actions -feigning ignorance!

"E-Verify" is a web-based system established by the "Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRIRA)," allowing American employers to electronically confirm the employment eligibility of their employees!

"E-Verify" is administered by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA) - it compares that information available from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the SSA, that can determine within seconds the current legal status of the individual under consideration!

Interviews by the Washington Post confirmed that in 2010, over 100 "illegals" were employed in the construction and operation of Donald Trump's Bedminister Golf Course - their undocumented status was common knowledge and it was readily apparent that only "illegals" would be willing to work for the low wages that Trump's managers were offering!

“This golf course (Bedminister) was built by illegals.”
- Dario Anguls, construction worker

“For me, moving to the U.S. wasn’t a very drastic change. My whole town practically lived there.”
- Mauricio Garro, maintenance worker at Bedminister

One former housekeeper at the resort told the Post that it was known by staff that managers at the resort didn’t care about workers’ legal status - given that unionized workers performing the same jobs, were receiving approximately double the salaries!

For almost 2 decades, he Trump Organization employed a “roving crew of Latin American employees” to perform masonry and maintenance work at his winery and various golf clubs around the country - the group was comprised of workers who had come into the US illegally!

After having deliberately ignored "E-Verify" for 20 years, Don Jr and Eric Trump were tasked with taking a sudden interest in determining the legal status of Trump Inc employees - given that their father had decided to become a presidential candidate in 2016, whereby "illegal" immigration and the construction of a Wall, that Mexico would pay for, would serve as the centerpiece for his campaign!

Bedminister was far from being an isolated case - in 1980 Trump hired dozens of undocumented Polish workers to demolish a 12 story building to make way for his signature project, "Trump Towers!" They worked in 12 hour shifts around the clock, lacked even basic safety equipment (hard hats) and for subpar wages - $4 to $5 per hour!
When the Poles rebelled after not being paid and threatened to place a lien on Trump's property, the billionaire threatened, through his lawyers, to call the Immigration and Naturalization Service and have all the workers deported!

for a traffic ticket? yeah, I don't care if someone gets away from them when their offense was a traffic violation.

"Eminence Front" a.k.a. Harris the artful dodger gave a blah-blah speech about securing the border. The speech was devoid of reality. no doubt there are threads - but i just saw this. coincidentally ( or not) this gets released the same day.
example: 13,000 wanted for Homicide migrants 'catch and released' to the streets by CBP
is just part of the migrant crime reach - now the numbers back up Trump's "empty their jails"

An ICE spokesperson told The Post that the data published by Gonzales is accurate.
The document doesn’t make clear how many of the murderers are incarcerated by state or local officials, and it’s possible at least some of the perpetrators have completed their incarceration and been released.

Sanctuary jurisdictions do not honor ICE “detainer” requests when an inmate is about to be released, meaning that freshly freed criminal suspects and offenders who have completed their terms of confinement aren’t picked up and placed into deportation proceedings.

Other well-represented crimes among illegal immigrants known to be living in the US include sexual assault — with 523 convicted or suspected rapists in ICE custody and 20,061 not — and assault, with more than 100,000 convicted or accused of that crime not in ICE custody.

“As of July 21, 2024, there were 662,566 noncitizens with criminal histories on ICE’s national docket —13,099 criminally convicted MURDERS!” tweeted Gonzales, a critic of Harris’ performance who represents more than 800 miles of territory along the US-Mexico border.

The Department of Homeland Security, which oversees ICE, later clarified that the numbers span decades and those not in its custody may be held by a state or local agency. For example, someone serving time in a state prison for murder could be counted as a criminal not in ICE’s custody. They are not being held by federal immigration authorities but they are detained — a distinction ICE didn’t make in its report to Gonzales.

“The data goes back decades; it includes individuals who entered the country over the past 40 years or more, the vast majority of whose custody determination was made long before this Administration,” the agency said. "It also includes many who are under the jurisdiction or currently incarcerated by federal, state or local law enforcement partners.”

The department also stressed what it has done to deport those without the right to stay in America, saying it had removed or returned more than 700,000 people in the past year, which it said was the highest number since 2010. Homeland Security said it had removed 180,000 people with criminal convictions since President Joe Biden took office.

So, Trump hired 100 undocumented workers to build a golf course and then didn't pay them for their work and threatened to deport them if they tried to sue him. Is that what I'm reading here?

NYP. Not to be taken seriously.
That goes equally for NYT. Anyone who chooses Manhattan as their home is mentally suspect.

More MAGA sewage.
Not in FEDERAL custody- most murders are in state prisons, so not counted by ICE.
This report covers several administrations, it is a history, not a snapshot.
Lies are part and parcel of the MAGA fearmongering.... ✌️

Why don't we hear of these murders as they occur?

we do where i live.

one guy a new hire murdered his co-worker when he was on break stabbing him in the back with his knife

another high school girl was stabbed while she was watching a baseball game.

as we circle the drain as a nation, remember: it really doesn't have to be this way, but it is this way.

Venezuela sent us their criminals and were free as long as they went to usa. the border count is down now because applications are given to these people to apply and they are flown in and dropped on unsuspecting towns across america.

this is all prophetic because usa is going down as a world power and this help complete the job. but we can't see that far, and thus go into Hard Denial when presented with the facts.

oh well.

.

Stay outta your kitchens!

“………he’ll rip your lungs out, Jim!”

they are preventable if the criminal isn't in the USA

common sense has left the country and is not coming back.

we are done, engineered that way by your 'friendly fascist forces'.

.

Bottom line is if the immigrants were white there would be no discussions ever.
