Barack Obama remained silent over the violence in Gaza as Israel today threatened to continue its attacks for weeks.
Instead, the president-elect is continuing his 12-day Christmas holiday in Hawaii and was seen enjoying a round of golf.
He joined a group of friends at a private club near his £6million rented, beach-front holiday home in Hawaii yesterday.

I have no idea, get the racist Mary Mitchell to answer that question, my sentence is just stating what Mary Mitchell meant. Since Obama did not fight the smears of Mary Mitchell, and the suspected lying racist still has her job, I have a right to suspect the majority of blacks in this country must be bad and Obama is a liar. Since it has never been refuted by Obama, I see no reason not to take Mary Mitchell at her word about Obama being a liar.

I don't have issues with a President Elect speaking about issues of domestic importance, but when it comes to Foreign Affairs I don't want anyone but the POTUS speaking publicly about a stance. Obama may be President here in less than half a month, but right now its still Bush and still Bush's policies and there does not need to be a second voice there to muddle it up.

His not being President didn't stop him from proposing solutions to the economic crisis nor did it stop him from discussing the probability of withdrawals with Iraqi officials. Why is this any different?
It seems he's only interested in discussing things which he finds politically advantageous and it seems equally apparent that his supporters are willing to ignore or rationalize his silence on this key issue while defending his chattiness on others. Perhaps he'll speak to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict once he's finished the back nine.

I don't know, the world is looking to him. And historically a president elect will make comments or at least say "I defer to the President" on huge international issues..
