Shamed FBI reopens the case against Hillary Clinton...


The primary problem I see right now is that there's not a clear and coherent definition of what would or would not be legal in soliciting assistance or accepting unsolicited assistance from foreign nationals regarding political campaign activities for a federal office.

It's clearly illegal to accept money, and that may be the tipping point here - what assistance, if any, was received by a federal level campaign from a foreign source that can be defined as a "donation-in-kind" due to it having a monetary value? Kind of like how the feds use IRS Tax Law to convict gangsters of felonies for not paying taxes on illicit income. If the act of getting assistance isn't illegal, maybe they can demonstrate how that assistance may have had a monetary value that makes it an illegal foreign campaign contribution.

Who knows how this will all turn out. One thing is for sure, IMHO, no political party nor politician nor staffer is immune at this point. The Democratic Party, the GOP, et al, are potential targets of federal prosecution.
 

That is further complicated when a trade is involved. If the DNC or RNC trades money for (buys) foreign "opposition research" does that really constitute accepting a foreign donation?

Oh, the DOJ is also looking into Obama's decsion to shut down the DEAs case into Hezbolla's drug running operation.

Numerous intelligence agencies say otherwise, but hey, I get it. Denial is the only way you can handle the reality that Trump’s cronies actively undermined American security.

There's been so much stuff exposed in regard to the Obama Administration that shows how they compromised our security. From Clinton and her aide's handling of classified information, to the dirty deal they made with Hamas to get the Iran deal through that has in part added to our opiod crisis not to mention Hamas in South America recruiting members from mosques to enter into the U.S. illegally. I'm reading there is even a new probe that has been launched into the Uranium One deal due to the testimony of a former FBI agent who was under cover for 10 years because of the interest Russia had shown in acquiring uranium worldwide.
Then you have all the security breaches that occurred under the Obama's intelligence agencies. What a fargin mess.
 
Public service announcement: an FBI that can be politically pressured to investigate the President's political rivals is an FBI that can be politically pressured to indict the President's political rivals. This is a new, dark place we've just entered in American history. Remember that our policies, customs and laws are strongly founded in precedent.

It's the investigation of the investigations that is now underway. When you cast your verdict before the trial occurs something has probably already gone awry.

Yes Trump can pardon and Hillary can't. Elections have consequences.

After she swings from the gallows we can all chortle "at this point what difference does it make"

Meanwhile, you ignore that Russia interfered with the 2016 election and it's getting clear that Trump and his mob were complicit.

I was referring to a Pardon for trump by Pence or Ryan, trump cannot pardon himself. Hillary is not going to the gallows for anything related to this inquiry, just wishful thinking on your part.
 

The partial and partisan DOJ under Obama swept the Clinton crime cartel under the rug with ease. No one ever figured Hilary would lose the election, so nothing to worry about..

When Trump was elected the Clintons/DNC/Democratic officials turned to the Russian story with all it's might and the left wing MSM's to try and derail any investigations of the DNC or the Clintons.

Rotten to the core Democrat leadership has pulled out all the stops, but the truth shall prevail! The tide is turning fast as the Russian collusion story is out of steam and out of traction. Bold faced lies tend to come back and haunt the tellers...

We need to jail about 20 of the Democrats who colluded with the Clintons to serve some jail time, right along with Bill and Hillary. Until we do, there will be nothing but mockery's of the law made routinely by the left wing Democratic liberals/progressives.

Time to drop the boom on these crimes, and arrest those involved.

Well, pretty apparent it wasn't done properly the first time around, so, yes, it'll have to be revisited.

It may turn out to be the same result, or it may not. We'll have to see what additional the facts, decisions and actions are from this.
 

We can only dream of Hillary kicking and swinging at the end of a rope with that loathsome shrieking voice silenced for good. Even Billy would be havibg a chuckle at finally being done with the harridan.

I think the constitution does not prohibit a president from pardoning anyone including himself by a strict reading of the Constitution. He can't pardon himself for impeachable offenses but impeachment is only a political judgement that carries no criminal penalties.

The chances of Trump being removed from office are nil. It would take every Senate communist (Democrats and Independents) plus 18 Republicans to do it - My dream is far more realistic than yours.

I just listened to an interview with John Solomon, journalist for the Hill. He says the latest information discovered on the Clinton Foundation, the handling of the Clinton Email/Server investigation and Uranium One is alarming and proves these stories are far from being debunked. He says at the same time the hyperbole thrown at Trump over Russia is unraveling.

He also stated there are more names to come out who had partisan motives within the FBI and DOJ. These are going to be new names, not Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie. He also stated he has seen some really aggressive evidence from the IG Horowitz's investigation. He said he viewed raw emails of an FBI agent yet to be identified that shows a clear partisan lean for Clinton. He also stated he thinks IG Horowitz's report is going to be one of the biggest stories of 2018 and the very biggest story will be the investigation that has been ongoing into Clinton Foundation from the FBI office in Little Rock.
