But yes, he's right, she is.

If I had to decide today who I'd like to see on the ticket I'd choose either Warren and Buttigieg or Warren and Yang. I think all three, above anyone, would want to do the best they could for this country.

Those national polls mean less than nothing to me since people actually take them seriously. It’s as if people still haven’t figured out that we use the Electoral College to elect a President. I only look at the state polls of the 20 or so states being targeted by both parties, though the RNC is miles ahead of the DNC due to incumbency.

I’ll break it down to Provinces of the EC. The Far West is D. The Intermountain West is R. The Plains states are R, with only NE-02 possibly in play. SIX all-important Midwestern states are in play. Four of the Southwest states are in play.

The Northeast has NH, ME, and ME-02 in play. And then we have the heart of gop control, the Southeast and South-central states. GOPs must keep TX, FL, GA, SC, and especially NC, where the gop convention is, 6 weeks after the DNC Convention in Wisconsin.

I'm not so sure. A Bernie Warren ticket would chase a lot of independents away. No matter what party you're talking about if you don't win over the bigger majority of independents you will not win the election.

trump nicknames aren’t appealing to bankrupted farmers any more. Next year will be their third year of lost markets world-wide.

Remember how that played out for Carter during Reagan with wheat and the Soviets? Farmers know they’re not getting their markets back for at least a decade.

Much better, as approvals/disapprovals in individual states are second only to actual polls in those states. Morning Consult is also very good with approvals/disapprovals. RealClearPolitics has a summer full of state polls in battleground states.

After that, there’s no sense taking anything serious from the moronic nonsense coming from the party of Nixon and trumputin. It is delicious, however, to hear trump browbeat FOX into submission because they dare report REAL News, especially on state polls.

As far as attitudes are concerned, I like Andrew Yang the best. Here's hoping he gets a moment to shine...before he is beaten about the head and shoulders with a wooden bowling pin by the Democratic powers that be.

I do, in fact, and I believe that a Warren-Bernie ticket is also viable. Warren stands to benefit more from Bernie's devoted base than Bernie stands to gain from Warren, however, and either one would gain more from picking a nice centrist candidate like Booker or Buttigieg to play second fiddle.

It's worth remembering that, like you said at post #20, any of the big five could beat Trump today. Having a unified progressive ticket this year is probably the best chance we're going to have for a long time to come of some real, substantial change in this country.
 
When does the DNC cut the primary to something managable for the voters? Only 3 appear to have any chance whatsoever. Biden, Bernie, Warren. After that its a waste of airtime.
