Senators from both parties grilled RFK Jr. on vaccines and more

Why do you believe RFK.jr in regard to saying she told him she was not "trustworthy"?
Because I don't believe he would have said so in a public setting before Congress if she didn't.

He didn’t give his word, he was pointedly not under oath.
Just so you know in the future, taking someones word has nothing to do with being under oath.

Forget the Democratic attack. Kennedy could have been the most perfect HHS secretary ever appointed, and they still would have attacked . . . with venomous vigor. That's kinda the out of power party's job.

The real cutting came from the Republican defense. It was uncharacteristically tepid. Three Republican Senators challenged Kennedy directly. Only one lashed back at Democratic criticism. The rest were, as I said, lukewarm.

Even Trump must sense the loss of confidence in Kennedy. Afterwards, the best he could mount was "I'm kinda glad he's different."

This alleged exchange sounds more like a heroin addict’s confabulation than an actual thing the CDC Director said to him. Just a bizarre claim.
Of course you do.

I suspect most people do not.
Anyone who believed him has to have their own issues. Gullibility is the least objectionable one.

To say that the hearing was "contentious", would be a vast understatement. Even the Republican Senators were unsympathetic.

Senators from both parties grilled RFK Jr. on vaccines and more

"In a contentious Senate hearing marked by raised voices and heated exchanges, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faced calls to resign from Democrats and unexpected criticism from Republicans.

Several Republican senators brought up the legacy of President Donald Trump's Operation Warp Speed, which sent a safe COVID vaccine to the public in record time, helping save millions of lives. They pushed Kennedy to explain his current approach to the shots and mRNA technology.
....
"President Trump deserves a Nobel Prize for Operation Warp Speed," said Sen. Bill Cassidy, a Louisiana Republican and physician, whose vote was critical in Kennedy's confirmation. He demanded Kennedy explain his changing stance on COVID vaccines, and said: "effectively, we're denying people vaccine" — an assertion echoed by many physicians' groups including the American Association of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.

Cassidy had exacted assurances from Kennedy during his confirmation process in February that he would not restrict Americans' access to vaccines, a promise the senator now accuses Kennedy of violating. Kennedy fired the entire 17-member Advisory Panel on Immunization Practices at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, replacing them with members Cassidy argued are largely unscientific vaccine skeptics with vested financial interests in suing vaccine makers.

Another Republican physician on the Senate Finance Committee, Dr. John Barrasso of Wyoming, joined Democrats in criticizing Kennedy for undermining vaccines.

"In your confirmation hearings, you promised to uphold the highest standards for vaccines. Since then, I've grown deeply concerned," Barrasso told Kennedy at the hearing. "I've been hearing from many of my medical colleagues, and there are real concerns that safe, proven vaccines like measles, like hepatitis B and others, could be in jeopardy and that would put Americans at risk and reverse decades of progress."

Kennedy fared poorly despite tremendous efforts by some MAGA stalwarts to save his ass. He called a number of Senators, and the recently confirmed and then fired Director of the CDC, "liars"... not sugar coating his language. He also uttered some whoppers directly, and forcefully lying about almost every subject he was questioned on, even from friendly interlocutors, leaving some of them flabbergasted. There are going to be some backroom requests that Trump fire him to right the ship.

That hearing reminded me of this forum. I saw about 30 mins. A lot of screaming emotional leftists who ignored facts and got schooled. What a bunch of crazy assholes.
All those Senators have received tons of money from big pharma. They absolutely embarrassed themselves. They couldn't even come up with believable talking points which reminds me of many posters here.

From the link.........

But...................... the leftists!!

But..................the leftists!!

Poor Toby, so MANY leftists on this forum. Cry much?
Big pharma shills includes Republicans.

Exposed as a kook.

Again.
Not for anyone who watched any of the hearing. The Senators exposed themselves as nothing more than representatives of Big pharma.

I heard the opposite. Especially when RFK jr. slammed her when she started to stick up for the CDC director he fired saying it was because she would not do his bidding.

Kennedy said he fired her because he asked her if she could be trusted and she said NO

Kennedy reminded Warren that back during confirmation she voted against the fired director. Stating she was incompetent etc.

Warren I'm sure needs to Prep H tonight. :ROFLMAO:
Yeah it's beyond ridiculous thay every Democrat voted against her but then complained when she was fired.

Alternative "facts".
"Facts" like how Fauci admitted the masking and social distancing for Covid wasnt based on any science or data and it "sort of just appeared"?

Needs more tinfoil and brain worms.

9 former directors of the CDC, from both parties and going to back to the Carter Administration, published an essay explaining why Kennedy is a threat to America's public health system.

Because I don't believe he would have said so in a public setting before Congress if she didn't.

Why wouldn't rfkjr have lied "in a public setting before Congress"? After, he knew there would be no penalty attached to the lies he told the Senate, because the GOPer legislators protected his lying ass by refusing to have him testify under oath.

I'm glad some of them are starting to 'realize' something, even if for selfish reasons. I didn't watch any of this today, hopefully he'll get fired or quit. What's going on is insane, America is dying in more ways than one.
America has had the worst chronic disease epidemic in the world long before RFK.

You must've been on the wrong channel.

Aaron Siri. RFK’s lawyer who wants to get rid of the polio vaccine.

Eithan Haim. Was the doctor who leaked private patient information because of them being trans. Guess he has jumped onto the anti vax grift train.
You would think it would be difficult to manage making sure you ONLY hire unethical people, right?
