Senate Democrats just released full testimony on the Trump-Russia dossier

So, will Feinstein now be "investigated" by the ethics committee and "placed on ice" for 8 months?

"Sen. Dianne Feinstein said Thursday that a “bad cold” possibly attributed to her decision to release the Glenn Simpson testimony earlier this week.

“The one regret I have is that I should have spoke with Senator Grassley before. And I don’t make an excuse, but I’ve had a bad cold and maybe that slowed down my mental facilities a little bit,” Ms. Feinstein, California Democrat, told NBC News referring to Senate Judiciary Chairman Charles E. Grassley. ..."



Also, I heard on FOX this morning that the testimony was heavily redacted before it was released to the general public. So much for transparency ...


And somewhere I heard that no, no one got killed because of the dossier; hence no inquiry by Senators or Representatives or media into that "statement".

If the FBI had hard evidence or sources prior to Steele's meeting with the FBI, why did Obama's top intel chiefs breif Congress, Obama and candidate Trump on the contents of the dossier ? Why didnt they breif Congress on this intel ?

Here's the Lefts dilemma, before the invention of the Popadopolis fake narrative, the Media obsessed over the dossier.

They presented the dossier and its allegations as legitimate intel, and so did Obama's FBI, CIA, NSA and DOJ.

So this desperate attempt to rewrite the narrative isn't going to work.

What Fienstein did was highly unethical and desperate to boot and her actions show just how seriously the Democrats are taking this growing scandal

Andrew " Andy's Office '' McCabe testified under oath that the ONLY allegations the FBI corroberated was Page's trip to Moscow.

When asked when her learned that the dossier was funded by Hillary's campaign, he suddenly couldnt recall.

Soon after his testimony he announced his retirement.

Christopher Steele is involved in a Libel case in London over allegations in the dossier. He was forced to admit the allegations in the dossier were unsubstantiated, unfounded and that it was never meant to be made public.

He also testified that Fusion GPS ordered him to travel to Washington to brief reporters on the contents of the dossier.
 

Schiff just lost his neck. He's out looking for it in the fear that he might lose something more significant next.

Well documented? It has been alleged that the Russians HACKED THE DNC Computer but apparently that is good enough for you to believe they installed Trump. You really are used to dealing with the minion robots within the democratic party who are easily swayed by propaganda and it is a lot more serious of an issue to you than the millions of illegals who voted for Hillary. You should post the evidence that it was the sole reason it was used for the FISA warrant, otherwise, just more speculation from Mycroft.

I posted it to answer the question of where Mr. Simpson gathered some of his information on Trump's tax liability or the reduction thereof at least at the state level. That said, this only confirms what has already been reported publicly - that Trump has under estimated the value of his properties in order to pay less (or no) taxes.

Is totally relevent. The dossier was always just Democrat funded partisan propaganda and lies, it was never legitimate intelligence, and it never should have been treated as such by the FBI and our intelligence agencies

But it was, Obama's Intel chiefs actually briefed Congress and candidate Trump on the dossier

There are 4 active libel suits now against media outlets who published the dossier and Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele, including a suit filed by Carter Page.
Multiple media outlets have reported that the dossier was used to obtain the FISA warrant to monitor Page.

No this proves how arrogant and radical the left has become, this is a state of the union message, go, sit on your hands and here what Trump has to say, then react. Sorry but protest proves nothing other than some people disagree enough with something that they are willing to get off their butt and go make a public statement on it.
I, for one, do not attend protests or marches, not my thing, but have no problem with anyone else dong so as long as they do so peacefully. As for the speech, I am sure there will be plenty to discuss after he makes it, but yes I agree, we have to wait to see what he says before reacting to it.

I posted the article claiming that some DNC members of Congress wouldn't be attending the state of union in protest and that is the issue, not listening to what is being said but protesting anyway. Seems that everything else that Trump says gets a reaction so why not wait until AFTER the SOU to protest? Radicals have taken over the Democratic Party and they demand to be heard but never to listen to what others say.

1. This has been covered ad nauseim. The dossier is a professional intelligence report by a professional intelligence source with a great reputation, who routinely provides intelligence reports to various nations including the U.S. It's neither partisan propaganda, nor lies. It's raw intelligence, and much of it has shown to be true/accurate.
Claiming that because Fusion sought to fund their investigation by people with money who would be willing to pay for it, is business as usual.

Trump Campaign Source Backed Up Russian Dossier Claims, Said Fusion GPS Co-Founder

Former British agent Christopher Steele told the FBI that he believed the Russians would use information to “blackmail” then-candidate Donald Trump—and later learned that the FBI had heard similar claims from a Trump campaign member, the head of the research firm Fusion GPS told Congress in testimony made public on Tuesday.

Fusion GPS hired Steele, a former British spy, in June 2016 to look into Trump on behalf of clients, co-founder Glenn Simpson told the Senate Judiciary Committee in August, according to a transcript released Tuesday by Senator Dianne Feinstein. Steele produced his first memo in the same month he was hired, and later alerted the FBI about the blackmail possibility, Simpson said.

Steele apparently made contact with the bureau between June 20 and July 26, 2016.

In mid-to-late September 2016, Steele told Simpson that the FBI had asked him to provide more information, Simpson testified.

“My understanding was that they believed Chris at this point—that they believed Chris’s information might be credible because they had other intelligence that indicated the same thing and one of those pieces of intelligence was a human source from inside the Trump organization,” Simpson testified.

Republicans in Congress have claimed that Steele’s unverified dossier led the FBI to open its investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election and possible coordination with the Trump campaign. But Simpson’s comments appear to confirm that the FBI did not launch its Trump-Russia investigation just because of the dossier.

In December, The New York Times reported that the FBI’s launched the probe after learning of a May 2016 conversation that Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos had with an Australian diplomat, whose government then alerted the FBI about Papadopoulos’s comments “two months” after the conversation. The would be in July, according to the report.
