SEN. RAND PAUL (R-KY): "With regard to the idea of whether you have a right to health care, you have realize what that implies. It's not an abstraction. I’m a physician. That means you have a right to come to my house and conscript me. It means you believe in slavery."

He's spot on, watch the video, he makes a great point.

No. Because you have the CHOICE to have an attorney represent you, or you can choose to have a court appointed one.
Oh my god my health care is provided for! This is slavery!!?!?
How is this slavery?
Like Kandahar said even the most "regulated" systems you choose your doctor, your hospital and etc...

How is it funded?
........at the end of a gun......by brute force......at the expense of the fruits of another's labor?
Good thing thats not slavery......
Do you also believe that teachers, soldiers, prison guards, road workers, and other public servants are slaves?
All of those services require funding "at the end of a gun by brute force" too.
Well like every "Free" American on the plantation......they fork over the fruits of their labor......or men with guns are dispatched to their door.
Brute force has never been a requirement to fund any of them........but its how Democrats and Statists roll.......

Always so nice to hear white guys call random **** slavery. Next we'll have their token black politicians and our token right wing black members defending the use of the term "slavery" in this context.
That isn't what the right to health care means, or as it's being pursued. The discussion is about the government providing health care, via single payer, not showing up at the doctor's office and demanding it. How disingenuous of him.
