"Second Thoughts" Day in Trump World

China is not a democracy, its leader is now in office for life and they don't play by the same rules as other members of say, WTO. They were admitted based on a committment to follow the rules of the WTO and they do not. They are guilty of stealing intellectual property from numberous members of the WTO and have never been held accountable, Trump is at least trying to do something. Did you think China would just say, oh, okay we will be nice now and stop. That's what they told others in the past and they never have done so. Result, Trump Trying to play some hardball. You don't know it it will work or not, but it would have a better chance if the media would shut up and the democrats would help. Democrats including the media cannot support anything trump does because they want to win the election.

But I think that you and some of the people that feel the same as you, are not realizing they are being taken on the long con.

A "crisis" that lasts decades loses its status as a crisis. A smarter and more humane President than Trump would have made less of a mess of the problem.

Trump does not need the dems nor the media. He needs a multinational effort and he blew that up the week he took office. You are correct that China's IP theft and grossly abusive manufacturing agreements are the issues, not Chinese imports.

If anything, the last two weeks made it plain to everyone that Trump’s “stable genius” meme is a total myth.

In a series of unrelated tweets, Trump managed to demonstrate to the world that Trump really is the petulant twelve year old mind that his critics have said he was.

The emperor has no clothes.

He sits around the White House watching Sham Hammity on Fox News and then throws something at the wall every few days to try and hog the news cycle.

There is no plan. No direction, No consistency (other than his trade wars, his wall, and his obsession with seeing his face on the TV screen).

I agree with everything, except your estimate of twelve years. By that age normal boys have been taught about how to treat and respect girls and most have been taught about the importance of telling the truth. By that age most white parents have taught their kids why others who look different, or have different skin color deserve as much respect as their white friends. Racism and feelings of superiority begin much earlier than twelve. I estimate his mental acuity and grasp of morality is equivalent to a seven to nine year old. By twelve, most kinds are well over having a snit over the slightest affront.

As an adult Don is responsible for his own action and beliefs, but they originated from his father who I believe must have been an even more of a despicable human being...
