Remember when I lived in CA (Socialist state) and we impeached our Democratic party Governor. And put into office a movie actor named Arnold Schwarzenegger?

And re elected Arnold to Governor?

Well Seattle Mayor Durkan is in hot water over how she ignored the riots and allowed the riots to continue.

The media covered for her by calling the riots peaceful. Sure, burning down stores is peaceful in the eye of a Democrat.

Do we have any Democrat posters who think she stunk up her job?

"Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan asked the state Supreme Court to reverse the decision of a King County circuit court judge that allowed a recall effort to move forward against her, which could result in her expulsion from office.

Durkan, a Democrat, was called out by five Seattle residents who filed a petition seeking to recall her because of how law enforcement officials have responded to protests this summer, according to The Seattle Times.

Durkan reportedly asked the circuit court judge to reconsider the decision, but the request was denied

This comes just one day after Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best announced her resignation, saying that she was not leaving because of pay cuts to her department, but rather because of the “lack of respect” toward her fellow officers.

Well it's a recall, not an impeachment. So there's that.

But there certainly was going to be political ramifications for the job she has done during the chaos of the protests and then the rioting.

Seattle got what they wanted. They should disband their police department and surrender to the rioters and let the rioters pick the next mayor. All of that will solve the problem.

An impeachment is not a recall either. It sends claims, true or false to the Senate who if it finds guilt will remove from office.

Trump joins the rest of the impeached presidents to have the Senate refuse to convict.

We must hear Democrats scream to hold the Democrats leaders accountable.

Hold Cuomo accountable, Gov. Inslee and Newsom accountable. Stop blaming the Executive of the Feds. The Feds play only a supporting role. Presidents are not the bosses of Governors.

I wish to hold the news accountable for misreporting what happens daily.

If Seattle residents love violent acts carried out in the streets, primarily by Antifa forces and BLM forces, they will keep her as Mayor.
She has not stood up for the police.

Are you a democrat that believes Trump bosses around Governors? If so, and it seems as if you do think that, it is wrong headed thinking.

If you have major problems in your city, you do not seek Trump to fix it, you seek a Mayor to fix it followed by the city council.

Seattle sucks when it comes to supporting law enforcement, both local and the feds who show up to only protect federal buildings.

When the media calls them storm troopers, the media lies about the nature of the Fed law enforcement.

Recall what Obama did when there were riots to destroy Ferguson, MO?

Explain to us what Obama did in the same conditions.

She should be put on trial for treason and then executed if found guilty.

This seems to be a long winded way of saying you don't know the difference between an impeachment and a recall...

LMAO... This whole "impeachment" story is about the charges that will appear on a recall petition that hasn't even started yet.... Once the recall petition is approved, it will then need to gather 50,000 valid signatures... We are a long, long way for any possible recall...

It's not about "bossing" around the govs. Why not ask them what they need to mount a formidable response to the virus? The fed govt has vast resources the states simply don't have and can centralize national effort to provide states with what the need, like using the DPA to distribute PPE, such as masks to every American, vents to states as asked and gowns to all hospitals. And I'd rather be bossed around by the feds to follow safe guidelines than live with some knuckle-dragging Red state gov that makes it illegal to require mask.

I was replying to your post regarding the fed virus response in support of the states. As respects that, Obama let the science/health/med community lead the way and gave them what they asked for.

Are not the BLM and Antifa crowds now demanding that all white house owners sign over ownership of their homes to Blacks?

If they do so, do they have to keep making the Mortgage payments? I mean, how much can a house in Seattle be worth, post-Riots, compared to what is still owed?

If the white owners just declare bankruptcy, and walk away from their property, then BLM and Antifa get all the loots!

But banks get F*d Hard, but they're all owned rich white males, and deserve it.

So, just surrender the entire city, all property to BLM and Antifa, and leave.

I am sure that they'll create a new Black-People's Paradise from what they receive.

Why it will make the State of Washington a tourist Mecca and the leader in the world for start up companies and high tech HQs!

Why are we stopping the creation of a Utopia!?

Just drag those damn white people out of the those black-homes!

"Five" Seattle residents filed a petition seeking to recall Durkan over her role in the police response to the protests that have dominated the city this spring and summer, The Seattle Times reported

Seattle mayor appeals recall decision to state Supreme Court

Crackpot and her DECLARATION OF ELLIOT GRACE
HARVEY IN SUPPORT OF MOTION FOR
TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER

Grace Harvey
Chair at Committee to Recall Jenny Durkan

I, Grace Harvey, declare and state as follows:

1. The information contained in this declaration is true and correct to the best of my
knowledge, and I am of majority age and competent to testify about the matters set forth herein.
2. I am from and still currently reside in Seattle, Washington.

I am thirty years old. I
am an accountant and a full-time student. I have been unable to join in recent protests because I
have a chronic underlying medical condition which impacts my mobility and renders me
particularly susceptible to respiratory distress.

3. However, I live about one half-block away from recent clashes between the
Seattle Police Department and protesters and consequently have suffered health effects and
trauma from my home.

4. On Monday, June 1, at around 9:10 p.m., Seattle Police deployed tear gas that
permeated my home and caused me to develop a severe cough and made it difficult for me to
breathe. I took refuge in a neighbor’s apartment unit that does not have any windows and stayed
sheltered in place there for a few hours.

Eventually, to protect my health, I had to flee my
apartment building and stay in a hotel in North Seattle that night.

5. The next day, Tuesday, June 2, I was in contact with my specialty care physician,
who told me not to return home until I was sure that the use of chemical agents had stopped. I
stayed in the same hotel again that night.

However, I came home Wednesday, even though I was
not sure that the use of chemical agents had stopped, because of the expense and inconvenience
of sheltering indefinitely in a hotel.

6. On Saturday, June 6, I experienced stinging eyes from pepper spray bombs used
by the Seattle Police.

7. I am terrified that the police will again deploy tear gas and that I will not be able
to get away from my apartment safely. If a chemical agent entered my home again and caused
similar respiratory effects, I would need to leave immediately.

Prolonged exposure to chemical
agents could cause severe negative health impacts. I do not have a car and I have limited
mobility, so I am unable to evacuate to a safe place without assistance.

I am also anxious about
the possibility of the police line moving past my apartment building, in which case it would
become even more difficult for me to evacuate safely during a confrontation.

I feel trapped and
unsafe in my own home. I have no good options: I can either stay in my apartment and risk
being stranded there during a tear gas assault, or I can flee to a hotel, where I will have to pay
nightly for the inconvenience of being forced from my home, and where I will not have access to
basic necessities like laundry and a kitchen

Are you living in Seattle?

No, the first I participated in was a crooked fremont City Council man that we recalled.

Last one was to recall Gray Davis then Governor of CA and that also succeeded.

The mayor of Seattle is in serious hot water.
