I read the whole article. First that I've heard of this. If true, and I have strong doubts, considering the source, it reflects only .00002857% of the total 70,000 to 80,000 of the people attending No Kings just in Seattle.

The article is hyperbole, at best. The CHAZ protests were a whole 3 square blocks outside Seattle's downtown but the reference to that is "the 2020 summer of protests when the group took over parts of the city" implying that it was much larger than 3 square blocks outside the downtown area.

My understanding of it is that it's a group of people who objected to police murdering people. Yes, they over-reacted, some of them deserved to go to jail.
