Sean Hannity Controls the Conservative Narrative

Every single one of the conservative members on this forum right now are using talking points from Sean Hannity's show last night. There is very little divergence away from these talking points besides for those who I think are not part of the groupthink and are just pointing out doubt or trolling for "evidence," they refuse to see. DP members spouting this stuff may not know it came from Hannity, but it did.

Hannity talking points last night per me watching:

  • Cohen committed no crimes and received bad legal advice
  • All presidential candidates commit this sort of crime
  • Swampy’s supporters won’t care because they already knew Manafort and Cohen were crooked
  • The president’s advisers being crooks doesn’t matter because the crimes weren’t related to collusion with Russia
  • Manafort being convicted on eight of 18 charges was actually “an unmitigated disaster” for Mueller
  • The president and his associates are all victims of “collusion between the FBI and the DOJ.”

bullet point four is all over this forum now. They keep talking about collusion where no one else is to derail the topics being discussed.

I think the two main spheres of influence are Hannity and Foxy Friends. Hannity generally has a number of guests on that are sub-powerful vectors in conservative think. They go out on their own the next day to spread the message which gets picked up by others in the conservative media, but it's always whoever was on hannity last night says such and such. Swampy good blah!

Foxy Friends are the good looking people next door who calmly sit you down to explain what's going on even though sometimes they don't know until the President remembers to phone in and tell them what to say. They seem to not be in Hannity sphere of influence.
 

It's either recycled Hannity, Breitbart or Kurt Slichter from Townhall, and if all of them are too quiet, there's always Alex Jones for the truly hardcore.

It's like spam, and DP and every other forum are all drowning in it.
Go see for yourselves, it's the same thread headlines in a dozen other forums, same talking points, same "stick it to the libturds" nonsense, and almost no actual discussions.

We don't even NEED the Russian interference anymore, it's as if we've Pavlov'd ourselves into an eternal feedback loop on our own now.

It's actually really easy to debate them as well as troll them right back in the same way. They don't care about facts, but if you get them like they attempt to get da libs, they'll cower away in fear. I've been trying that for the past few weeks and I've had great success at it. Lots of forum members still believe that these people want to debate them though and they wrongly fall for it.

I don't agree with point number one, although I understand the argument about pleading guilty even when one is not. I don't think it necessarily happened in Cohen's case, but it does happen fairly often when Prosecutors pile on charges hoping one or more will stick. It is also a method to compel "cooperation" to "compose" testimony against another target.

As for the rest?

Wasn't one example of point #2 mentioned concerning Candidate Obama's misuse of campaign funds? He ended up paying a fine?

As for point #3, IMO Mr. Trump's supporters probably don't care because all the crimes occurred prior to the President's campaign, and all were unrelated to Mr. Trump himself.

Point #4? Geez, don't most people think most if not all politicians are liars, and crooks, served by legions of minions who also lie, cheat, and steal? You do know it's politics right?

Point #5? Again, Manafort's convictions had nothing to do with Trump, and the zero for Mueller was the expectation Manafort would do a "Cohen" and implicate the President in Russian collusion. That was a big fat ZERO.

Finally, point #6? Seems like everyone on your side keep ignoring the growing evidence involving Ohr, Comey, Strzok, etc. which seems to show there was more to that "insurance policy" if Trump won than your side is willing to admit.

So yeah, many people might still be NOT agreeing with your same old narrative.

Sean Hannity cannot even control his own bladder much less the conservative narrative. He is joke to anyone that is remotely serious.

Hannity is going after Comey tonight. He claims that because he made money at other jobs, it was because of his clearance. I expect Swampy to yank it soon.

I e-mailed Hannity a couple of weeks ago and asked him why he rarely,if ever,has anyone other than back-slapping fellow Neo-Cons on his Show.I also asked him to address the fact that he is much more of an editorilist as opposed to being a 'fair and balanced' journalist,which he claims to be on a nightly basis....Still waiting for a reply,but most certainly not holding my breath.
 

Your e-mail goes to the same file that my monthly e-mail to my Republican Senator asking him why he does not stand up to Trump....pointing out others have died for our democracy and he is too much of coward to even take a nasty tweet or risk his Senate seat.

They live in a low information bubble. They don't want to hear from those outside the bubble.

The left is largely fractured between those who watch cable news, and those who primarily watch YouTube. On that front, you've got Kyle Kulinski, TYT, David Pakman, The Humanist Report with Mike Figureado, Jimmy Dore, The Rational National, to name the ones I can actually remember off the top of my head.

I can't vouch for what everyone else's go-to is, but I've been watching Kyle for a few years now.

Hannity does not control the conservative Narrative. No more than CNN controls the progressive narrative.
 

Ive probably got more posts on the subject here than anyone else and I dont think I have used any of those 'talking points.' So much for that stupid theory of yours.

But since you are so knowledgeable, which liberal TV host is controlling the liberal narrative? And please dont tell me that every one of you have come up with the exact same talking points all on your own. Thanks, I await your non reply.
 
I remember when Rush used to wield a lot of power and influence. People got tired of the constant commercials.

Drudge did for awhile.

Sean for sure is the voice for everything Trump. He has late night convos with Don. That is like having the ear of God.
