...and he's still accused of not being a Christian. That's what makes the USA so laughable.
No one is free to do what they wish, even people with money.
Oh, we're playing semantic games eh? Well, count me out...I hate that ****....
That's a great point. How is evolution a foreign policy issue?
Religious fundamentalists are a concern in the UK and yet you continue to import ever more Muslims? Those Christian fundamentalists are causing a bit of a stir over there, are they? Its a foreign policy question for us in the UK. If the potential future president of the most powerful country on earth is a relgious fundamentalist then that is very concerning for us.
Lesson of this story is if you dont want to get caught out like this dont hold press conferences in foreign countries.
The moment you lib progressives started co opting science as a means to control the masses is the moment you destroyed its credibility.
Nothing in politics, when liberals are involved are "simple" questions...

What does all your blather have to do with what I said?
Oh, wait. Nothing. Just an opportunity for a liberal to bash conservatives. *sigh*
Romney is stupid? And what? Obama is smart?I agree that Muslims fundamentalists are a problem but this is a problem we have been addressing. Since 2001 we have been engaged on several fronts against extremism in Afghan, Libya etc and we have given more powers to MI5 to detain potential suspects and hold them for extended periods of time. Now do I think that it really matters what Scott walkers believes in? No I don't because being President you have to tow the line and I don't foresee any massive overhauls especially in regards to the separation of church and state however its still a question you have to expect in a country that is becoming more and more distant from the Church.
Like I said just don't come over if you don't want to look stupid, aka Romney 2012.
So you feel the Democrats have done a good job? In what areas?I went back to see what you wrote, since it sounds like you thought it was pretty profound. So I was disappointed to see that all you had posted was this: "If that's the best ya' got to criticize Scott Walker, he's got more of a chance than I thought."
So it turns out that you didn't really say much at all, did you? But my response was pretty direct, and not too difficult to understand. But to repeat, the point of my post was not so much to criticize Scott Walker, but rather the party he represents. People who belong to today's Republican Party have to act stupid (some don't even have to act!) with regards to settled matters of science, economics, and other disciplines. Facts just aren't their friends, it seems. It's a really sad commentary on the party.
So that was what my post was about, and I'd not think of this incident as any where near the best example for displaying the weakness of the man. Oh no, he's generated lots better material than this!
And the nature of ignorance as well.If a candidate doesn't define himself and his beliefs then his opponents will do it for him. That's just the nature of politics.
