Scientists warn that greenhouse gas accumulation is accelerating and more extreme weather will come

The devastating effects of climate change are being felt all across the world.

So of course any credible study that offert alternativ explanation would be funded. Instead is the evidence for manmade global warming so overwhelming that even federal reports published during Trump's first presidency acknowledge the urgent need to reduce CO2 emissions.

Once again weather attributed to observed warming is not the same thing as saying that warming is attributed to added CO2!
Also the forth national climate assessment used the invalidated RCP8.5.

More bullshit and prioafanda.

Stay uneducated then.
You seem to be the uneducated one. You produce links without relevant quotes, or explanations, and expect people to take orders.

Just who do you think you are? Do you think everyone wants to waste their time because you make an unfounded claim?

Ah, what would morning coffee be without leftist insults?
I don't get these people. They cannot argue the merits of their side, and are to ignorant to realize they are showing their ignorance by answering with links.

Damn...

What has education come to these days.

Don't get me started on the retards that trust ChatGPT....

Climate change has been studied for many decades by the world’s leading scientists.. While Republican politicians, fossil fuel companies and others that oppose action have also had every opportunity to scrutinize the evidence. With the result that both American and international scientific reports continue to acknowledge the urgent need to reduce CO2 emissions.

Have you got anything new to add,? You keep throwing up the same tripe like it means something.

Yawn.

The climate in the UK is most definately changing.
The area I live in (East Anglia) has become much, much hotter and drier during summer and it's a massive pile of shite.
That's not necessarily due to climate change actually on a global scale the Earth is cooling at the moment.
UK houses are designed to keep heat inside and are built from brick and are bloody nightmares in a hot summer.
Maybe it's time to consider getting air conditioning.
There's a reason people don't build brick building in the desert.
I live in a very humid very hot subtropical climate. And I live in a brick house but it has an air conditioner.

No it hasn't

You're lying.

Present documented proof.
It has, though his time may be a little off.

When we came out of the last ice age, enough ice melted to increase the sea level by that approximate 400 ft.

Meanwhile, in Canada, fossil fuel production increases...

That article is old.

Marc Carney has signaled Canada's energy industry has been loosened of all restrictions...

It's 'drill baby drill". That increased production will go to the US, China and Japan...

He has signaled he will approve and unlimited increase the amount of LNG we ship to the orient....but with a 35% surtax to American customers.

"Elbows up", we're switching sides. Trump made a mistake when he made Canada an enemy.

Should Iran get nasty again, we won't be opening the Canadian embassy for American's safety. No government, right, left or out of its mind will embrace anything American for decades!!!! "51st" state was a huge ****ing mistake that I think even he realizes now.

The entire world is going "WTF - he just attacked America's only friend!!!!

Former friend....

Now you reply 'we don' need Canada" and we're done here

How does present glacier extent and sea level compare to the extent of glaciers and global sea level during the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM)?

The Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) occurred about 20,000 years ago, during the last phase of the Pleistocene epoch. At that time, global sea level was more than 400 feet lower than it is today, and glaciers covered approximately:
  • 8% of Earth’s surface
  • 25% of Earth’s land area
  • 33% of Alaska
Beginning about 15,000 years ago, continental glaciers retreated and sea level began to rise. Sea level reached its current height about 8,000 years ago and has fluctuated ever since.

Republican politicians have been able to scrutinize the evidence for many decades. With the result that the Trump administration couldn't provide any evidence or reasons for why they now stopped the work on the next federal report and took down the website for the reports.

“The Trump administration had already halted work on the next edition of the report, and fired all the staff who worked on it. The White House did not respond to questions about why the climate report website was taken down, or whether the administration plans to create the next edition of the climate assessment as Congress mandates.

Congress requires the federal government to publish the National Climate Assessment every four years. The last edition was published in 2023, and underscored the degree to which climate change is expensive, deadly and preventable.”

The real reason that Republicans oppose climate research and action on climate change is because all the money they have gotten from fossil fuel companies and fossil fuel dictatorships.

SO nothing new, just the same old same old!

Yes all that money is a big reason for why Republican politicians ignore the overwhelming evidence and the public demand for action.

Wait, what? July 7th was like.. days ago?

Are you ok?

Marc Carney has signaled Canada's energy industry has been loosened of all restrictions...

It's 'drill baby drill". That increased production will go to the US, China and Japan...
Typical Canada.

Climate change isn't a thing they give a shit about.

But soon they will feel the effects, just like everyone else.

He has signaled he will approve and unlimited increase the amount of LNG we ship to the orient....but with a 35% surtax to American customers.

"Elbows up", we're switching sides. Trump made a mistake when he made Canada an enemy.
For sure. I imagine the planet's largest exporter of LNG is upset that the 6th largest exporter won't flood their market.

Probably hurts their feelings pretty badly.

On the other hand, we need Canada to intercept missiles from other countries. So might be worth buying some of their dirty energy, even though I would argue it's not worth it.
