That's a matter of erasing duplication and making existing levels of government work more effectively. Less government for you folks mostly means eroding the duties and functions of government-not making it work more effectively.
He's concerned about the 'environment" on which your facts are based, not the facts themselves.
This abstruse attitude is not uncommon among most environmentalists.
Quite the hipster.

And knowing that has trivialized their ongoing outbursts of "sexism", "racism", and all the other empty charges they use to debate any reasoned arguments. The truth is that their arguments are just so weak, they're beliefs really, that attacking you personally is the only way they feel they can save any face. It seems though that people everywhere are finally catching on now. Mark 'Uterus" is being taught a lesson on this in Colorado.Liberals have to make it personal...just can't say it enough.
Less government means a more streamlined government, doing what The Constitution says the government should be doing.
Spending 3 million bucks to study shrimp on a treadmill doesn't accomplish anything.

I think we can forget the idea of big government ever working effectively, as we can see by the border fiasco, or illegal immigration, as well as many other problems.
The only way people can ever have some control over government is when they live next to it, not when it's controlled from the other side of the continent, which is why there has to be more State rights and less power in Washington. The Senate should also be changed back to how it was envisioned by the founding fathers.
I think that everyone is grateful for those restrictions, given the history of governments of all sorts and the knowledge that "Power Corrupts". There should be an active and ongoing debate on what the people expect their governments to do, on all levels, and the clearly defined responsibi;ities of each. This was done at one time but the lower levels of government have lost a great deal of their powers since the separation of responsibilities began.Government works pretty well, considering the intentional restrictions we place on it.
Under the present administration Governments cannot even police their own borders or detain illegals within them. But again, I'm less concerned about the platitudes of "government controlling government" because they forget how much they do control the national government's functions.

How much do you know about shrimp, exactly?
They are damn good in gumbo, which is one of my better dishes. My ettouffe is great too. I just haven't learned how to boil shrimp right. I boil crawfish that will make you slap ys msms, but shrimp? I haven't figured that out, yet. I know if you overcook them, they're hard as hell to peel.
Nation of Islam is one of the largest racist hate organizations in this country.Given all the racism in the USA from 1776 to the present, I feel certain that the Muslims will be keen to provide a happy alternative.

Minorities cannot be racist against the majority, they've no systemic privilege to perpetuate.
I had been been putting my shrimp on a treadmill before adding them to a recipe but found it toughens them up a little too much. Now I soak them in beer and put them in front of the TV for a few hours and that seems to tender them up a lot. Maybe another $3 million is available to study this further. They are damn good in gumbo, which is one of my better dishes. My ettouffe is great too. I just haven't learned how to boil shrimp right. As well as in the world. More attention should be paid to this very real and lethal problem rather than the manufactured domestic race bating.Nation of Islam is one of the largest racist hate organizations in this country.
So would it be safe to say you would know the anatomy of shrimp and what we could possibly find in researching them?
You believe there's value in spending 3mil on wartching a shrimp on s treadmill?
Are you a scientist or at the very least in the business side of endeavors like this? Regardless, how would you budget an experiment like this?
I would factor it right out of the budget...lol!
I would encourage the folks that wanted to do the research to approach the shrimp industry for the money.
Well then how much of the federal budget would you leave up for Scientific grants if you were a member of Congress?
What makes you think they didn't approach private companies for grants? For that matter, do you even understand the process on how Scientists earn government funded grants?
1) I wouldn't spend 3 million bucks on a shrimp treadmill.
2) Research it. Find out if they did and get back with us.
Again, how much of the federal budget would you allow to scientific grants, because as of 2014 Congress has allocated 60 billion dollars to scientific grants and studies. That money is then spread out to different public scientific groups like the National Institute of Health and the National Science Institute. Is that too much, too little, or not enough?
Honestly I can not say if the group that started the study asked private groups, but the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. That is all an aside from the point at hand here. Why do you insist on dodging all of my questions?
I don't know, but I know that if I had any say, $3 million wouldn't be spent watching a shrimp on a treadmill. If these folks want to do the research, they better get the price tag down in the ballpark of about $10,000, or less.
I don't know if the tried to round up private money, or not. If they did and private investors didn't buy into it, that should tell you something.
$10 grand wouldn't even be able to buy the bacteria they used on the shrimp let alone the funds needed for the actual treadmills (if they used different treadmills for science reasons,) upkeep, and lab space.
Private investors care more about the short term bottom line than they do for the long term ramifications that studies like the one we are discussing are providing. Which is hardly the fault of private citizens earning their buck, but again this whole line of discussion is pointless.
I say this respectfully, but you're simply ignorant on the matter of science spending and how much (or in this case I should say how little) Scientists get in grants to perform tests like running shrimp on treadmills. Nor are you informed on how much scientific equipment costs to garner accurate results.
