House Majority Whip Steve Scalise spoke to a white supremacist group in 2002, an explosive allegation that first surfaced Sunday on a Louisiana blog.
Politicians shouldn't talk to white people now? When was that made a rule?

Politicians shouldn't talk to nazis and skin heads unless it's inside a prison.
What about Nation of Islam activists?

You use a right-wing rag to try and deny yet another racist Republican?
No, I never denied the Republican was rascist. I just pointed out that he is not the only apparent rascist politician in the United States.
Now, going back to objectivity, Do you think polticians should embrace Nation of Islam activists?
Prove that Barack Obama embraces hate groups. You may not use a right-wing rag to do it. Use a credible objective journalistic source.
Ga'head.
Didn't you know? Only white people can hate.
Sure, I will find another source detailing Barack Obama's ties to Munir Muhammad and Munir's CROE orgainization. But can you also:
Prove my source is inaccurate. And no, your unsupported verbal acclamation that it is a "right wing rag" does not constitute "proof".
White haters usually cant hate and be a state employees and get a hug from the President.
Sadly, Munir Muhammad, the uhmmm "heavily ethnocentric, but not rascist per se" - yeah right, head of CROE is also a state employee of Illinois. He also gets hugs from the Obama.
Obama and Scalise probably have that in common.Politicians meet all kinds of people.
And Obama, a life long Chicago politician, had no idea who Munir Muhammad, a life long Chicago political activist, is?The problem this Republican has is he KNEW where he was speaking and to whom.
Obama and Scalise probably have that in common.
Yes, there are right wingers who make inflammatory and borderline rascist comments. Other right wingers are undoubtably rascist.
These characteristics, however, are not unique to the right wing alone. Leftists made simialr inflammatory comments about Bush.
He claims he didn't know who they were, but it seems to me a name like European-American Unity and Rights Organization should trigger some kind of curiosity.
Politicians shouldn't talk to white people now? When was that made a rule?
???? A name like that indicates nothing racial whatsoever, so why would it trigger any curiosity? Now I can understand questioning the wisdom of accepting a speaking invitation without doing a little legwork on the group you are speaking to, but that name alone wouldn't set off any red flags for anyone. In hindsight, you can see something there since you know that it's a WP group, but without that context, that name simply sounds like any one of a number of pro-Euro/American unity groups.
Are the rights of European-Americans under attack? Are there a lot of groups like this?
